Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

In other "oh bugger" news, I picked up the lid for the casserole pot... after I'd got it out of the oven. Ouch Soaked it for 30 minutes in cold water and put cream on, and it's still sore There's an interesting blister developing. Still I'm seeing a GP friend tomorrow and doubtless she will tell me if I need to do anything with it other than just look after it. (And not do anything so stupid again!)

Hand and stupid cat are both acceptable this morning. I put Aloe Vera on the hand before bed last night, and the skin is tight where it got burned, but not painful - hurrah. Stupid Cat is busy not throwing up and also being happy by sneaking onto my bed this morning and is not ensconced on my lap.

It is sunny and windy so i have put a wash on. I have also hoovered. I don't know how I cope with the excitement

Twitter has analysed the new avengers trailer and tells us that it means.... there's an Avengers Film coming out next year

The milk issue rarely used to arise, but I think there was a change in roles when one of our office workers left & was replaced & frankly I'm not sure where the responsibility lies now. I suspect that one of the partners decreed that worker should drop the kitchen stocking duties & take on other duties, & keeping us supplied with milk can just be done by whichever support staff member notices/has time. I don't think our office manger would agree - she knows what the office runs on

Hurrah for Xmas shopping getting done. And FFS at the milk situation at FancyWorkPlace. DH and DS were out for ages today, so by the time they got back it looked like I'd been uber-productive and not spent most on the morning in bed/mucking about online.
Is currently depressingly dark and lashing it down, but not that cold.

Evening. Weird weather here, sunny one minute, chucking it down the next.

We got the Christmas stuff out of the loft last night, but haven't done anything with it yet. DH is spending 10 hours a day at DD's because all the work has to be done for Christmas, so he hasn't had time to put the lights on the trees so I can decorate them.

Glad you enjoyed the comedy thing LetUs and that Helen's hand is feeling a bit better.
