Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective Grin

Night night

FancyFancy · 27/11/2018 23:44

I was half asleep all day today. So naturally, I am not yet in bed Hmm

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 28/11/2018 07:44

What you need Fancy - when half asleep all day - is to come home to cat vom and other stressful things. Then you're buzzing on adrenaline and don't need to go to sleep. Hmm

It's dark and rainy here. Bleurgh. Have squelched out to let the chickens out. Have not caught a rat overnight.

Work calls, in delightful dulcet tones. (Not)

Have a good day all.

LetUsPrey · 28/11/2018 08:07

Morning wenches.

You need an incentive to go to bed Fancy. Here’s one for tonight.

Athos is using his dulcet tones to tempt you Helen.

Weird dream last night. Jude Law wanted me to help introduce a band called The Blossoms on stage, then I helped release a witch who had been trapped long ago in a tree, then I was in a stately home where a ghost was wreaking havoc and killed the housekeeper.

Morning.

I think I can live without that level of excitement in my life helen Grin

Wonderfully bizarre dreams there letus, but more importantly - OMFG that gif

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 28/11/2018 11:21

Freaked out a bit when I thought the heat-air-pump-thingy was broken, the power light was blinking, I don't know where the manual is, I googled and it's supposed to do that sometimes and now it's working again. I'm preblob so I stress out easily. And I really need chocolate!

ApricotCrush · 28/11/2018 16:12

Afternoon. Horrible day here, wet windy, cold.

Shock at -13 WW. Yay for heat-air-pump-thingy not being broken. Confused

Weird dream LetUs, I love that you gave the group a name.

Have a lovely evening Fancy.

Watched Mrs. Wilson last night. Excellent. At last something I can understand that doesn't make my brain hurt.

LetUsPrey · 28/11/2018 18:20

Evening wenches. Flipping horrible weather here too.

Thought you’d appreciate the gif Fancy Grin Enjoy the meal!

phew for it not being broken. I know what you mean about stressing out to different levels depending on blobness.

I’ve recorded Mrs Wilson Apricot. Looking forward to it. Death and Nightingales starts tonight on BBC2 which is another I’m recording and will watch on my own. The Blossoms is an actual band, although I couldn’t name any of their songs or even “sing” any of them. I’ve obviously seen the name written down and they decided to pop into my dream. Thanks so much subconscious. Have got HBFs on the brain but do they show up in my dreams? Noooooooooo.

Athos wants to know if you need his help catching the rat Helen? I’m not sure the things he was suggesting would be that helpful in a rat catching scenario Grin

FFS. Bait vanished, trap not sprung. DS is pestering for bloody cartoons on TV and I'm in a foul mood.

Thank god Wicked's heating is working a broken pump would not be good at -13 Confused

at LetUs's bonkers dream. The Blossoms are an actual band though aren't they? actually, I think I'm thinking of Gin Blossoms.

Am trying to type this, and having a messenger conversation with friends about rats. It's getting very confusing.

ApricotCrush · 28/11/2018 20:54

Oooooh WW I'm watching a programme about the Vikings and Neil Whatshisname is at the Uppsala burial mounds. Awesome!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 28/11/2018 21:05

What channel Apricot?

ApricotCrush · 28/11/2018 21:24

It's finished now Helen. BBC4, Wednesdays at 8 o'clock, that was the first one, don't know how many there are. It's a repeat but really interesting.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 28/11/2018 21:33

Ooh Apes, that's awesome Smile

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 28/11/2018 21:38

I visited that place many times. I've walked on those burial mounds, not sure you're allowed to do that anymore. They also have a really old church there.

LetUsPrey · 28/11/2018 21:56

Programme is called Vikings (just looked for it) and is on iPlayer so I’ll be downloading that one! Thanks Apricot

I’ve been to the burial mounds - cairns? - at Kilmartin in Scotland but I suspect they’re not as impressive as the ones at Uppsala.

I’ll send some colleagues round to your house Helen. Their fucking annoyingness will drive the rat to leave and never return. Course then you have the colleagues. You may be better with the rat.

Had Rocky Horror soundtrack on earlier when I was doing the washing up. Super Grin. And as a coincidence Tim Curry is in the episode of Poirot I’ve got on.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 28/11/2018 23:04

Urgh. I have been spewing out Xmas idea emails to friends who are asking for DS. And also trying to work out what to do with a work meeting that has been arranged on a day which I specifically said that I couldn't do Angry FFS.

LetUsPrey · 28/11/2018 23:20

Ah the “what can we buy?” question. I feel me answering “fuck knows” would not be well received.

Twatty work people can fuck off at arranging meeting on day you’ve specifically said you’re unavailable.

I’m hoping for good things from the new BBC Poirot this year. The last two Christies they did were a bit poop. at Potter/Poirot mash up “accio murder weapon!” when they can’t find it!

I’ve watched the latest episode of Condor. Oooooooo it’s really good!

Evening

Have had a very pleasant evening - feeling a bit full now, so not quite ready for bed, althouigh I would be if AT were in it....

Ooh, someone mentioned Mrs Wilson tonight apricot, sounds interesting.

LetUsPrey · 28/11/2018 23:54

Ask and you shall receive Fancy.

mind you, wouldn’t want you getting indigestion so probably best if AT takes me up the hayloft and you have a rest

Night Grin

Morning wenches.

Is windy. I think all wenches should stay in the Tav with all the HBFs and forget stressy work shit and messiness in gardens and coldness.

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 29/11/2018 07:55

It's very dark and wet and windy outside still. Squelching through mud is required to get into chicken run. I shall be putting down straw for them later today.

In my head, today will be full of warm sunshine and appreciative HBFs. Not cold rain and a grouchy DH. If I don't faff online I could go back to bed for a bit...
