Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

Tea done, was yum. esp the bread and butter pudding . Need to shovel DS up to bed. He and DH are being annoying. Bless them. I have a headache so am easily annoyed just now.

DH has taken DS2 to bed. There’s a lot of shouting and laughing and messing about and not an awful lot of going to bed.

New tap is not remotely fancy, it will not be dripping though, hopefully!

Have had nice hot bath, still have headache. Have stropped off to bed in the manner of Kevin, because having a headache is SO UNFAIR!

Glad Fancy is back though - sympathies on the washing mountain Mine got done today - mostly dried outdoors until the sky went purple and I just managed to get it in before it rained. Also DH did mowing - FFS grass - it's nearly December - stop growing!!!

There is a rat trap up in the loft. I shall check it in the morning - unless I hear obvious rat-in-trap noises, in which case I will hoik the stepladder out and haul myself up there to deal with the issue. Horrible day here, cold, windy, raining. I cleared the terrace of leaves this morning, and it's now covered again with oak leaves from a huge tree two doors away.

I have been slobbed out with friends and a chinese takeaway this evening, which was nice. Really didn't feel like at while I was at work, but was a fun evening. Apart from the 10 minutes before I left to go out and found cat vom on the comfy chair No-one expects vomit on the comfy chair!
