Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

What I really want is a HBF hot bath (with a HBF) but I think it would actually be bloody rather painful for the rash, so I'll settle for just the HBF. #hopeful #deluded

New car is, um. different. Somewhat less powerful that DH's car which I've been borrowing for the past two weeks! But nice to drive and stuff. I just need to figure out what/how all the buttons work

NHS advice is it keep the rash dry, and to apply a cold compress such as a damp flannel

Am watching Lord Mayor’s Show which for someone who’s not been to London that many times is quite fun because I’m playing “I’ve been there, I went there”. Also one of the walks I did talked a lot about the various Guilds and Worshipful Companies so it’s quite interesting from that point of view.

I made the most of the brief sunshine and did some gardening, came in just in time before the downpour. The cats were not as lucky - FancyCat was somewhat damp when she came in, she soon sorted that out & promptly shook herself That fur can hold a lot of water.

Afternoon. Had fika/lunch for over two hours with a friend, felt good talking about all the stuff that's been going on. Then foodshopping and now I'm relaxing on the couch watching some trashy telly.
