Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

Am back from SportingEventThingy Am knackered. DS is either going down with something, or is just ridiculously tired. Or both. Still he came home with haul of medals so he's happy.

Weirdy Dreams again which made me feel all discombobulated when I woke up. And tired. And it’s Monday.

MiniHelen Has a sore throat and is under the weather with something. I have phoned in to school has said that he's off. He seems a lot perkier now. Today he will be doing homework, and nor spending all day on TV/computers.

DH woke up in the early hours to do his best impression of vomit-comet cats - except being civilised, he threw up in the toilet and not all over the carpet/sofa

I'm still a bit tired, strangely enough.

Called in sick today, really tired and the weekend wasn't as relaxing as I thought. Really gray weather here. I also forbidden myself to shop anything online for a while, I haven't bought anything super expensive but it's starting to add up and I did shop a lot in London. I'll just think about it as early Christmas presents. The last thing I ordered was a jigsaw puzzle, haven't done one of those in years, will be interesting to see if the cats are going to help

Ah - cats and jigsaws. yes. ours 'help' bby sitting on the jigsaw while we're doing it. Or on the box so we can't see the picture. Or in the box so we can't get any more pieces out. Or have a mad moment and run onto it, full pelt, and send all the pieces flying as they perform a 90 degree skid turn.

That thing about DS not sitting in front of the TV all day? Well it still seemed like most of the day Still, he got a good amount of homework done. He seems fine, and DH is looking less pale and interesting as well.

Have thought a tiny bit about C word, mainly because one of my sisters is away from early/mid December and not back until after 25th so I’m having to get their stuff sorted.

Pleased that MrHelen and MiniHelen are much improved.

Parents’ evening went very well. We got in with each teacher well before official appointment times. They all think he’s great and he’s on course to do super well. Very proud of him. On a wench level, one teacher is actually quite attractive, and another who he has for an extra subject and who we didn’t have to see is very attractive/bordering on HBF

Work was a bit meh today, but at least I did get some gardening done yesterday, so not a totally unproductive week so far.....
