Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

Did our usual very exciting trip to Poundland in Aber this morning to stock up on some bits and pieces. Now doing sod all while DH dismantles the barbecue and does general end of season stuff.

Done the work thing, taken DS2 to swimming, bought some booze, now preparing myself for later persuading DS1 to go to sportingactivity.

Weekend off to a flying start

DS1 refused to go to sportingactivity. DH didn’t back me up, just suggested he goes an alternate evening next week. This never happens, and won’t next week because the other night amazingly coincides with when DH is out so I’d have to take DS2 as well and it’s too late to have him out and about and miss homework on a school night. Also next week is parents evening so DH’s brilliant idea is for him to go after that. And it’s my yoga night but obviously it doesn’t matter if I miss that does it? DS2 is being a PITA - basically carrying on from last night. DH asked DS2 to do something and asked me to agree with him. I —childishly— said “what, like back you up?” so he went off for a sulk.

Fucking great. I’m cold and I’m tired and they can all just fuck the fuck off.

I plan to stay in the Tav today away from DH and DC. In RL this means tidying up and avoiding people.

I think it’s deserving this time.

It’s cold and rainy here, we went to the beach this morning, but the wind cut through you so we soon came back.

It’s bloody fleeing here too. Stay in the nice warm tav. There’s a fire going, there’s drinks on the bar, food available, and as many HBFs as the wenches can handle - in other words, all of them.

Nipped out about an hour and a half ago. Cold. Don’t like it.

I may join you in the front room for that Fancy. DS2 did his maths, didn’t concentrate and has got every question wrong. He knows how to do this stuff. So he re-did when I was out. It’s even more wrong than before. But his attitude for the last few days stinks so I’m not too impressed with him right now.

Usual Sunday here. Sportingactivity, washing, ironing, the hell that is getting DS2 to do his homework.

Anyways, we have had 3.5 hours sleep and gone straight into SportingCompetition DH is doing well, me more 'meh and DS is about to start.

Afternoon wenches. We're back, having lunched at local pub, and unpacked. Am now knackered and will go and snuggle down on the sofa and catch up on Strictly which we missed last night, after DH has finished catching up on the football.

We've watched Strictly LetUs and agree with you. Those we thought were mediocre got high marks and the ones we thought were really good were marked down. They need us on the panel. The results will be interesting.

Watching The Hobbit part 2. Think I’ve missed the Thranduil parts but it’s currently Smaug the Dragon voiced by The Batch. He’s just said “come now, don’t be shy”. I’m ignoring the fact he’s a dragon and really quite evil.
