Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

Afternoon. Weird day here, we've had sunshine, heavy rain, hail and strong winds. I got drenched when I did the shopping this morning.

I've been having a battle with a fly for two days now. It's driven me mad, constantly landing on me and my lunch. I tried swatting it but it was too fast, and eventually batted it out of the window. It's currently sitting on the outside trying to get back in.

We're have rain first thing, followed by sun and a stiff breeze, followed by rain again.

We had a zappy fly swatter once but it didn't work - as it in was faulty. I've heard other people swear by them.

Fingers crossed that apricot is having fun at a quiz, and wicked is wrapped up nice and snug in Kylo's cloak.

Afternoon. It snowed here this morning.

Went to the quiz thing. It was quite fun though a bit University Challenge in places, will go again. Our team didn't do very well, not helped by the microphone not working and one of the guys forgetting his hearing aid. By the time his wife had relayed the quesion to him and we'd had a discussion about it, we'd missed the next question. I shall be more organised next time now I know how it works.

DH is going out for food soon. Fish and chips and gravy mmmmmm.

I wan't fish and chips, but probably wouldn't enjoy it because of these f-ing mouth ulcers. My ear hurt as well and I think the blob might be on the way. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself .

We have snow as well, not much but I haven't changed to winter tyres yet, but it's getting warmer next week so I'll get it fixed then.

Good news is that I went to the dentist on Tuesday and I expected the worst, but I had no cavities and the tooth that's been hurting had something to do with preassure from another tooth so the dentist sanded it off (?) and hopefully it will work. I have to go back to the dental hygienist because of bleeding gums etc so I really have to take care of my teeth better in the future.

The fish and chips was delicious and I feel stuffed. Probably best avoided with mouth ulcers though Wicked. Excellent news from the dentist though (well, except for the gum thing). Can you take some time off work Wicked and just relax and look after yourself?

DS did homework because that was the only way he was allowed to then go online to play fortnite with friends. Except the system is playing silly buggers and won't connect him with his friends. FFS and all that
We had slow cooked beef brisket - yum. Fish and chips sounds good too though (and involves no cooking)
