Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

Car is def. a write off - DH limped it out to our local garage who estimated it would cot more than it's worth to fix the visible damage - let alone anything hidden. I could do without the hassle of finding a new car. I'm fine though, and so was the other driver, so that's the main thing.

I might get a FancyCar which is a little big bigger than mine. Or just replace like with like since the new versions of my car appear to have been taking steroids and bulked out somewhat

Got an email from someone today I’d sent some passworded documents to about three weeks ago. Password doesn’t work he says. I stop what I’m doing, find the things I sent, check the password on a couple of the documents. Hey guess what? The password actually does fucking work. I thought it best to email a response rather than phone him. Twat.

Sorry about the car Helen. I would pay anything not to write off my car. A few years ago we were having the drive tarmaced at my Aunt's and by arrangement I was using next door's drive. On one occasion all the men doing the drive turned to look at me as I pulled on and I demolished a low wall. We were told that the work needed for my car was more than it was worth, but I still had it done.

DS had a lie-in. Which meant that when the insurance bods called at 6:40 to say they were nearly here to pick up the car, I was asleep and it woke DS up too. Typical. And, also, alas poor car
As a bonus, I walked home from the drop off so I have been Active (ish) Is all grey and mizzly-drizzly outside.

Today we have to make a big effort on the homework front. Oh joy.
I will pretend I have a HBF waiting as my reward for good/responsible parenting... though I might go back to bed for 15 minutes or so first, just for the sheer pleasure of being back under the duvet
