DS is sick, what would a good Italian mum cook for him? First time he is properly sick, I need to cook him something, even if he might not eat it...

californication, are you califrau????
Def no milk, but my mamma would give bits of parmigiano
Pastina in brodo:
boil water, any piece of chicken (maybe two drumsticks), 1 carrot, 1 celery and half onion if you want.
cook the pastina in the brodo and grate some parmigiano. if you think is wqell enough trita some boiled carrot and chicken. it's one of my dc fav comfort food.
another thing is
riso patate and prezzemolo
boil water with 1 potato, chopped, cook the rice, sprinkle some chopped parsley (dado optional)
camomile with lemon
mela grattugiata
ciao let us know ho he does

Love your valentine's name califrau!

PippiLangstrump · 13/02/2007 21:44

buonasera a tutte...

califrau I didn't know everything has to be 'chiaro' when they are sick, although it makes sense.
hummm I wonder if my mum knows...

how can you all post so often??? your day must have so many more hours than mine.

eastend · 13/02/2007 23:21

Pippi, it's the reason why I'm so behind with my translation...
(now I've just woken up, but needed to send an email to someone to cancel a meeting, dd is unwell today)

eastend · 14/02/2007 19:23

Quanti bugs che ci sono in giro no? Poverini, poverini, questi bambini. I have been trapped at home all day with my translation, I managed to stay away from the net which means I have done quite a bit of work.

franca70 · 14/02/2007 20:35

ciao eastend, si, basta bugs! dd has a mild temperature (hence I didn't worked to day), and has been producing snot for at least ten days now. ds found it very difficult to start with. It was a big change from his nursery, where he knew everyone (he started when he was 15 months) and felt a bit like the boss... Also all his friends form nursery went to another school. So he was pretty miserable the first few days (cried for mummy at lunch time ). But he's settling now, and they do lots of activities. Not sure about his enthusiasm for learning to read or write, but I'm not worried really. what about your ds?

eastend · 14/02/2007 21:45

he loves his little school, va solo la mattina pero', he wouldn't last the whole day at this stage.
