DS is sick, what would a good Italian mum cook for him? First time he is properly sick, I need to cook him something, even if he might not eat it...

Bella questa di Giovannotti!

crumpet · 23/02/2007 21:57

Did anyone ever come across a bizarre (folk?) song - must have been from the war "una mattina, mi son'svegliata, oh bella ciao bella ciao bella ciao ciao ciao" - I was always surprised at how many people knew it.

crumpet · 23/02/2007 21:58

ps must confess to an embarrasing penchant for Venditti...

ok, this is what I cry to:
luci a san siro - vecchioni
la lega calcistica etc, natale, pablo and many more - de gregori
and this is the most pathetic of all: we bought a cd for the children with old songs from the zecchino d'oro and one is called- mamma tutto- which my mum used to sang when i was little and brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it...
no venditti though, I think he is a horrible human being, although I'm partial to notte prima degli esami.

franca70 · 23/02/2007 22:32

being thick tonight, which one califrau?

redeastend · 23/02/2007 22:48

Lol at "compagna".
Io piango con il Pulcino Ballerino dello Zecchino D'Oro. Franca, chissa' forse siamo depresse.
Ma che ha fatto di male Venditti, qualche porcata?

franca70 · 23/02/2007 22:53

I love il pulcino ballerino!
No, I don't think he's done anything bad, I just don't like him, I think he is a bit of a piacione...

redeastend · 23/02/2007 23:03

Non la conosco questa parola, che cos'e' un piacione? Uno che se la tira? Immagino che sia un po' donnaiolo, il caro Venditti. Deve essere vecchissimo mo' no? E Battiato che fa, e' vivo?

franca70 · 23/02/2007 23:19

Battiato is wonderful. Has made covers of old songs, even caterina caselli.
piacione, vain... ? who likes to be liked...

redeastend · 23/02/2007 23:21

I am going to use this word, I like it! Off to bed, nightnight everyone.
