I feel good
I knew that I would

Treat the chemo side effects like the worst hangover ever. Drink a LOT of water. (Clears the poison through the body more quickly.) Keep the paracetamol and ibuprofen well topped up. (Eases the aches / pains and controls temperature.) Otherwise just sleep it off. That was me yesterday.

I woke up this morning with no aches / pains and, most importantly, a temperature that was very, very well behaved.

Result!

So...DD is convinced that this wants a squeeze. What do we reckon phalanx? Is it huggable? We have a luffly zombie so maybe the tiger is friendly?

That is brilliant news Zombie, I hope you are feeling just as well today. Amazing that you have hopefully managed to create your own way to help you get through these times.( wonders if it may help others ) it will be fab for you not to have these awful days when you have your chemo.

Went to DS's rugby this morning (drew one, won one), then shopping for clothes for DH & DS for a wedding we're going to next week.

Delicious Asian fish dish for lunch. Dropping DS off at MIL's for a couple of days in a bit then DH & I are out for a curry. We may have a tiny gin before bed.

It's been a pretty good day. A bit of pottering around the house. Shopping at Sainsburys. Something to eat at Wetherspoons. Home to potter around a bit more.

Quiet evening in front of the telly.

Off to bed very soon.

It's 9.30pm. I still have the lounge window WIDE open and am perfectly comfortable. NO flying critters have invaded the lounge through the WIDE open window.

I fucking love this time of year.

It's warmer there than here then, sounds lovely.

We've had some stunning sunsets this week and the wind has changed.
It hardly ever does that.

What a lovely evening you've had Zombie especially no flying critters! I hate those big fluttery moths don't you?

What is your dance today? The Valeta would be lovely, slow and gentle. We used to do it at school in Ballroom Dancing, which was like Strictly but without the sequins.

It's been a pleasing day. Productive yet restful.

A bit of tidying. A bit of cleaning. A bit of cooking. A chat with my neighbour while putting the black wheelie bin and the recycling boxes out.

I'm now pleasantly tired for all the right reasons.
