Hi Zombie. Hope you are going along ok and not overdoing things. I trust that your friend travelled back to her home safely. Have you arranged any further get togethers ? How did zombiecats react to having someone else in their home ?
Any appointments lined up ?

I'm being a good Zombie, lin. Honest.

Friend is safely home. She, her husband and a couple of other family members will be in London in July. I'll at least manage a long lunch with them there.

The ZombieCats are always happy to have additional hands to stroke them and laps to sit on. It was a purrfest extraordinaire!

I'm off to the hospital in a few minutes to have my bloods drawn and then I have chemo tomorrow.

Being a Zombie, I'm sure they should be giving you blood not taking it ! Good luck for tomorrow, let's hope it dosent hit you like last time.

It's been a good day.

I had my hair cut, ate breakfast at my favourite cafe, had a Costa and then headed to the hospital.

It took 3 attempts to get a cannula in but otherwise it all went well.

Tomorrow will be a duvet day.

Duvet day sounds great. Hoping the Z cats will stand cuddle sentinel!

I want a duvet day. Instead I have to drag myself and the DC down to my mother's tomorrow. Can't complain though. She's coming to mind Monday to help me de-clutter and clean up. I luffs her loads. She's going to come once a week until the clutter is gone once and for all. I'm basically getting a cleaner

So....we ordered a bottle of gin we especially liked from Ginfest. The distilled himself has just hand delivered it. I know the distillery is just down t'road, but that is definitely service!!

Although now I can hear 'drink meeeeee. Drink meeeeeee'

I have decided that drinking is wrong & am giving up gin & renouncing all alcohol.....

Ew ikl, not sure if I could enjoy imbibing essence of delivery person.

It's certainly a very eco concept and possibly a unique example of perpetual motion.

There must be a way of cutting out the middle man... maybe plant him in your garden and water copiously?

B3. I'm wondering if the distillery needs any admin staff......or tasters. Taster would be a good job to have.

Have added a gin making kit to my birthday wish list on Amazon. Quite fancy starting a phalanx speakeasy to go alongside daily rations.

Fid - the gin making kit is only £20 (you have to supply your own base spirit) so not too bad.

I didn't even know this distillery was down the road(ish) till we went to Ginfest. I may have to keep detouring to it on the way home from work .
