B3 Egg-in-a-cup is proper invalid food, just as ikl says, soft boiled egg chopped up in a teacup often with a knob of butter stirred in, served with bread and butter fingers or triangles on the matching saucer of the cup.
Encourages poorly people to eat something as it looks pretty and is easy to eat.
My Mum used to make this, I used to get it for lunch, usually the day after cosomee and toast, and it was a pretty good indication that I wasn't going to die after all, or she wouldn't have wasted an egg on me
If all eaten up, I might be allowed out of bed and downstairs for an hour or two later in the day. The prettier the cup, the more ill I had been, and the better one felt for eatimg it all up of course.
Lucozade is a whole other story, I had my own special wine glass for Lucozade!
