I'm sorry if my radio silence has worried anyone.

It's just that sometimes I get as fed up posting moany, whingy updates as I'm sure most of you do reading them.

This time it's been my left hip. I've had an on again / off again dodgy right hip for 30 years. Never had a problem with my left hip until a few days ago. Then it suddenly "went". Walking has been difficult but do-able and climbing stairs limited to once a day at bedtime. Even then I have to go up one step at a time always using my right leg to provide the 'lift' up. This is minor (but annoying) in the grand scheme of things and it too shall pass.

Don't know about anyone else but I think it's better to have a moan and a whinge sometimes so feel free to carry on. It may not fix anything but I feel it stops any internalising of negativity (plus there's enough of us sharing the load that we won't be bogged down by it.)

Oh zombie I feel you pain with the bad hips. I had spd (basically my pelvis split and I have pain in my pelvis and hips, as it moves too much) when I was pregnant and I've not got any better. Apparently I'm one of the unlucky few who will never be fixed. I'll improve, but I'll always have some problems. Do you have any crutches? Or know anyone who could lend you some, just to take the weight off your hip?

Never worry about moaning zombie it's good to be able to witter on sometimes, we all need a good moan at times. Now we will have to put our minds together to find some help for your hip! We had plenty of suggestions for the nether regions so let's see what we can come up with next 🌸🌸🌸

Seriously, that is the joy of the internet & a thread like this. You are never burdening anyone as no one has to read your thread. Much better to get it all out & moan here.

Zombie you hardly ever moan and you never whinge!

I think part of the reason for us all being here is to listen to the odd grumble, be sympathetic, try and suggest something that might help and, failing all that, try and make you smile about it.

Actually, you could try going upstairs backwards on your bum and that might solve both problems

Non moaning update:

1. My hip seems to be improving.

1. I attended the Cardiology Clinic this afternoon. I saw the same lovely (retired but still providing locum cover) cardiologist as before. She doesn't want to see me again. My heart is doing just fine thank you very much so she has discharged me from further routine follow up.

That's great news Zombie, 1 less thing for you to be concerned about. How is your nether region now ?

lin did nothing but enquire about my nether regions and tell me to have sex last year (She was waiting for my baby to be born, so was giving tips on how to move it along)

Haha. BBB I couldn't movement literally. I couldn't get up the stairs. I had to be carried to my downstairs loo. The shuffle came in handy earlier in the pregnancy though.
