Ummm... I believe in Angels. I've not seen one but I often feel them near me.

I've been a very lazy Zombie. Must get my skates on tomorrow.

I'm trying to decide where to have dinner after my CT on Thursday evening. I'm rarely in Shrewsbury in the evening so it would be a shame not to take advantage of the opportunity for a bit of a treat.

Best friend is planning to stay over on Friday night. Going on past form it will be one hell of a good night and no doubt I'll take at least a week to recover. Bring. It. On.

How about Bistro Jacques or La Lanterna Zombie?

Good evening zombie hope you are feeling rested. I'm just putting my feet up after cooking Sunday dinner for my daughter and lovely grandchildren, my grandson is going on his first date tomorrow, he is 12! I've told him I'm going to follow him around the town and spy on him lol 🌸🌸

Lazy is good Zombie you need to gather yourself ready for a busy week ending with a really tough Friday night

Make sure you're stocked up with lots of Fuck-Off-Hangover goodies for Saturday - I recommend making up a big flask of Virgin Mary with lots of Tabasco and lemon juice and Lea and Perrins and celery salt and have it in the fridge ready for breakfast.

Evening Phalanx.

I'm home from CT scan and Pizza Hut. I didn't have the energy to traipse around the town centre in search of something better.

Even at 7.00 pm the CT department was running nearly 45 minutes late. I'm very glad the appointment wasn't during the day as some of the (already insufficient) parking spaces were taken out of general use and reserved for the polling station.

Another hospital appointment has arrived. I see the Cardiologist on 23 May. I really hope my Echocardiogram appointment comes through in time for me to have the test AND for the results to reach the right people before the 23rd.

Friend has made it to Birmingham. She's planning to have breakfast at the hotel and leave for here immediately after. I may be a wee bit excited.

Well it's been lovely sunshine here today, then about an hour ago it came over very black and absolutely poured it down complete with thunder! Don't you just love British weather! Happy weekend everyone 🍷🍷🍷

What an amazing 30 hours. Laughter, tears, putting the world to rights, rolled rib roast with perfect roast potatoes (we won't mention the frozen petit pois and sweetcorn), and the MOST AMAZING pan gravy I've ever tasted for dinner / English strawberries with cream for dessert, champagne, brandy, whisky. My back is still whimpering in ecstasy from the massage a few hours ago.

A (Zombie's BF) got the fright of her life in the evening when C (her nearly 18 yo DD) rang her in floods of tears. Turns out they were tears of utter joy. C is having the time of her life at her fanvention doodah thingy at the NEC. She even had several hugs from her favourite actor.

C will be busy tomorrow until about 5.30 pm so A and I are meeting up at New Street Station for a leisurely lunch.

Good friends. Happy, happy days.

Your weekend sounds like the perfect tonic Zombie, I really couldn't have wished for better weather for you- it's been fabulous in London this weekend and I believe it's not too bad in your neck of the woods either

BBB, I have no idea what etiquette may exist but feel free to interrupt/join in/start talking or whatever on the bra intervention front, I wouldn't be at all offended- it's a subject that I never tire of!

My party was wonderful, had a truly fabulous evening with the lovely people who mean most to me. I was gifted a professional make up session and had a dress made for my awkward shape so I was looking my best. Make up was almost ruined before we started by my closest sister who gifted me a bucket list trip for us to look for the Northern Lights in Iceland in the new year

Hope your weekend doesn't take too much out of you Zombie, maybe take it easy for a couple of days
