A community for parents...or is it?

as a new member, I was under the impression that this is a website community "by Parents, for Parents." I have been participating in a thread that is very heated and discovered that there are non parents commenting on here. Do you all think this is ok? It seems quite bizarre to me that someone is trolling through the site that isn't a parent. What would their motives be? I don't go onto sites for singles and comment. Although I have been single before so feel I could offer something if I wanted. But someone on this site, commenting about parenting things - and they aren't a parent themselves?? I am just curious about PARENTS opinions here. Please let me (and others) know what your opinion is on this matter. I am happy to listen and maybe there is a point I haven't thought of...thank you!

MrsDeVere does the edible glitter stick to furniture? Cause then, when DS ignores me for the fourteenth time, I can get pleasure out of chewing the furniture instead of just splinters!

MrsDV you may need to re-think some of the criteria for the stars, as the OP has stated elsewhere that "some of you aren't even real parents", so we now need a system that includes 'pretend' parents and must iron out the criteria to ensure we successfully sort the 'real' ones from the 'pretend' ones.

Maybe a truck load of edible glitter might help the OP

donna I was told the same but things worked out differently and I eventually gave birth to 2 DSs after being told it was 'highly unlikely' don't give up.

I have been out all afternoon. Is this all sorted out yet? What do I get star-wise for parenting teens and a cat?
