Tesco F&F are looking for 300 Mumsnetters with a child in primary school aged 5-10 to try out their school uniform range. Each tester will be given a £20 voucher to spend in their local Tesco to buy and test out their school uniform range in the last few weeks of term. Save’s having to do the back to school shop at the end of summer!

Here’s what Tesco F&F has to say: “Tesco uniforms are our best uniforms yet and with features such as reinforced knees on trousers, As-New technology, Teflon coating (eco-friendly) and much more, we’re confident that they will last and last and last.”

Testers will be sent their vouchers w/c 2nd July and will be required to go to a Tesco store that week to buy a new set of school uniform for their DC, including shirts/polo’s, trousers, skirts, shorts, dresses, and jumpers - whatever your child wears to school! We will need testers to try out the new uniform at school w/c 9th and 16th July and to leave their feedback on the uniform on a thread on Mumsnet and by filling out a short survey w/c 23rd July. Please only sign up if you are able to test the uniform in this timeframe.

All testers who complete all forms of feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Tesco voucher.

I had an email from Mumsnet at lunchtime saying I've been chosen and tesco will send me the £20 voucher. Maybe it's just a coincidence scam?

I wonder when we get the vouchers. Not much time to get to the store left in the week.

My thoughts too windy i also wonder what we do if they are out of the size we need

I think I’m overthinking this.

I don’t usually shop at Tesco. But a quick check of my local store and there don’t sell clothing. It calls its self a superstore. But no clothing, so will have to travel a bit to get to one that sells uniform. Will they have the uniform out now?

Anyone got their voucher yet? I was hoping to get to Tesco before the weekend so I don't have to drag the kids there with me!

Our local doesn't sell uniform either, wonder if the vouchers can be used online?

Very little uniform now being sold online! Online clothing is stopping as of next week!

None received yet and could do with being able to plan it in our week as our nearest is 20 miles away so can’t easily pop there

@Ivegotfamilyandidrinkcupsoftea I find it boggling that they are no longer going to sell clothes online! Seems like such a backwards step!

@Scoleah In the original post i think it says you'll need to go to a Tesco store.

I have looked it up and there aren’t any stores locally that sell clothing. This and the online service closing seems very strange. I’ll go to the nearest clothing store with my vouchers. But it’s a bit of a trek. Hadn’t bargained on my local store not selling clothing.

Oh I didn't realise Tesco clothing was closing online too! Our next closest has some uniform but not in Blue, so will just see what we can get while we're there!

I've had an email to let me know that we'll be getting a voucher - many thanks! As long as we have the voucher in time I'll pop out with DC2 to choose some stuff on Sunday ready for the next school week.

Yes I'm not quite sure how we're meant to test it all from Monday if we haven't got the voucher yet. I wonder if it's still happening?

Also think it’s far too hot to be testing jumpers so I’ll get shorts, trousers and polo shirts for DS hope that’s ok

Can I just ask you lot what you think makes you get selected to be tested? I apply for loads of these things but never seem to get chosen?? Is it to do with your comment history? Income? No of kids? any idea why they may have chosen you? Just interested.
