STOP PRESS! Live pre-wedding webchat with our very own Kate Middleton, TODAY at 1pm

Hello. We're extremely honoured (and just a little bit over-excited) to announce that royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton is coming to MNHQ for a webchat today at 1pm.

A while back, we put in a formal request for Kate to take part in a Mumsnet webchat (nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that) but, truth be told, we weren't that hopeful, given her other pressing engagements this week.

But then, this morning, the Buckingham Palace Press Office rang to say Miss Middleton had some time this lunchtime between her last dress fitting and her first palace-balcony-etiquette briefing - and would be delighted to drop in and chat to Mumsnetters. Apparently, she's been lurking on Mumsnet quite a lot recently and has been finding the Bridezilla discussions a real eye opener. Shock

So, quick, please post your (suitably deferential) questions for Miss Middleton here - and join us for our very first royal webchat at 1pm.

I am getting to the stage what with all the reality TV and so on that I think the entire Royal Wedding might be just a spoof.

Well you never know.

"Gives the press an opportunity to point and laugh. Which isn't nice."

If they think it worth reporting extracts from a spoof webchat they are really only showing themselves to be without adequate "proper" news to report. Vacuous, in the extreme!

Shame that the press still charge money for trashpapers and mugs pull cash from their pockets each day/week for that trash. I stopped buying regular papers over 30 years ago, and don't feel I've been missing very much...

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 26/04/2011 21:33

Where's my Babycham faun, eh? Eh?

SpringchickenGoldBrass · 26/04/2011 22:14

Bugger, I was going to ask if she's ever done Prince Willy up the bum with a strap on but I have been out all day.

StealthyKissBeartrayal · 26/04/2011 22:16

Well SGB you'd have been called naive, gullible and stupid
So there, I have done it for you.

SpringchickenGoldBrass · 26/04/2011 22:18

I rather thought it was a spoof, actualy. And thought that would have been a reasonable way of testing said hypothesis.
