Haven't read this thread but my mum could have done the same op as FandZ 20+ years ago about my clay lighthouse made at school. The art teacher showed it to mum and neither of them could keep an entirely straight face - I didn't have a clue!

It was a lighthouse with a bulgy uneven shaped tower and a bell end shaped top (painted pink and purple) with two round 'rock' shapes at the bottom.
