Can you please help me work out what animal I just saw

In the UK driving down the narrow country roads when this animal ran/waddled across the road.

It was bigger than a cat, smaller than a badger, slower than a fox.

It kind of waddled, was quite round and had no tail.

I really can't think what kind of mammal it was.

Any ideas?

May I also add, to you naysayers, how incredibly accurate my sketch actually was!!!

If (if? Who are we kidding - When, obviously) you do an image search for 'albino badgers', you may find some which look like miniature polar bears.

Or an erythristic one, maybe?

A beaver (yes,they are back in the UK), a juvenile badger, a pole cat, an otter or a stoat. Or failing that, a paper bag blowing across the road.

Oh, I see that you've just solved the conundrum! An albino badger!! Yes, that was EXACTLY what I was going to suggest next! (Who the hell knew that such a thing existed).

What colour was it? And what kind of area? (As in Fields? Woods?) Why didn't you take a photo for MN?

I wonder whose foof that is in front of the albino badger in the original photo.

Perhaps it's like the Minotaur and the badger came out of it.

A PP asked its colour, it was pretty similar to the picture I uploaded, although other villagers have seen the white polar bear Badger!

Capybara are bigger than a badger though, aren't they? Sounds like a beaver to me. Maybe you didn't notice its tail in the dusk?

It turned out to be a discarded onesie!
