What can I buy from Argos for £4ish to win a bet?

I have £4 worth of Argos vouchers that run out on Friday.
Dh tried to throw them in the bin this morning, saying that I wouldn’t be able to get anything worth having with them without adding a lot on.
I need to win this bet as I lost the last one and haven’t lived it down.

I thought I’d cracked it when I found a pair of slippers but you have to pay online for TU clothes and the vouchers can’t be used online.
We have a 2 year old so stocking filers are a possibility. Please hit me with your best suggestions so that I can wipe the smug look off dh’s face. Grin

I wonder why I can’t see that. The Argos site just invites me to be the first to ask a question. Who asked that one! You are a bloody genius!

PMSL at Dave's response :o

TheWiseWomansFear · 25/10/2018 23:30

Said the raven Nevermore...

You could ask him why he's looking so Poe faced...

TheWiseWomansFear · 25/10/2018 23:41

I feel bad for the buyers next year when they order thousands of ravens and don't shit any

TheWiseWomansFear · 25/10/2018 23:41

Shift*

I have posed a question.

What can I buy from Argos for £4ish to win a bet?
CarryOnScreamingValenta · 26/10/2018 07:32

Loving the Q&A. Dave is going to have fun today!

Shocksandboooos · 26/10/2018 08:04

I may have written a question after a couple of glasses of wine last night. The others are fabulous. Well done all. Halloween Grin

I just reserved the last one in my local store Halloween Blush Halloween Grin Are there other MNers round here or do Argos send stock to other stores as and when needed?

Greeneyedmonkey · 26/10/2018 08:36

This is one of my favourite ever Mumsnet threads- am particularly enjoying the questions on Argos. Please may we have some more?!

soupforbrains · 26/10/2018 08:44

The questions weren't showing up on my mobile but they are on the computer. Here is what we have so far, for anyone else who can't see them. Grin

legocardsagain · 26/10/2018 09:02

Grinthose questions are amazing!!

Has this thread been moved to classics yet?

soupforbrains · 26/10/2018 09:04

I hope it's Dave who has to come back and answer all the other questions too....

whippetwoman · 26/10/2018 09:07

This is making me laugh SO much. I love the questions. I am also off work today with a cold but will make a special trip out to my local Argos to get me some Raven action.

FaithInfinity · 26/10/2018 09:57

This is bloody brilliant! I would definitely light up the Raven with batteries purchased with the voucher Grin

Thanks for making me laugh when I am shattered from being up in the night with an ill DD.

FrangipaniBlue · 26/10/2018 10:50

Argos tells me that 11 people are currently looking at creepy raven and he's been bought 99 times in the last 48hrs....

I refuse to accept that this is not entirely down to this thread 🤣🤣🤣🤣

FrangipaniBlue · 26/10/2018 11:02

Threads like this are the reason I bloody love mumsnet

Storm4star · 26/10/2018 11:04

Hahaha I love the Q&A's. I confess it was me who wrote the first one about accessories. Dave's response is brilliant! Grin I hope he comes back to answer the others.

I'm excited to hear your update OP on your DH's response. This is such a funny thread.

My DS had a job interview the day I bought the raven and I told him that he was a lucky raven (to which my DS rolled his eyes and laughed). Well my DS got offered the job today so I told him he'd better say thank you to the raven! Grin

Shocksandboooos · 26/10/2018 11:04

Bugger. Dh has just text to say that he is going to pop home in his lunch to see us off. I won’t be able to set everything up.

OP posts:
Storm4star · 26/10/2018 11:07

Oh no. Are you driving? Can you drive off and pop back? lol.

Shocksandboooos · 26/10/2018 11:16

No I am being collected and it will mean fannying around with two toddlers in the car.
I have text my neighbour to see if she can help with set up once he has gone. Fingers crossed.

OP posts:
Storm4star · 26/10/2018 11:32

This could actually work out better if your neighbour is able to help. As then it'll be more of a shock to him as he'll have been home at lunchtime and seen nothing was there then.

WellThisIsShit · 26/10/2018 11:49

Oh no! This is a serious threat to Plan Raven. Argh!
