What can I buy from Argos for £4ish to win a bet?

I have £4 worth of Argos vouchers that run out on Friday.
Dh tried to throw them in the bin this morning, saying that I wouldn’t be able to get anything worth having with them without adding a lot on.
I need to win this bet as I lost the last one and haven’t lived it down.

I thought I’d cracked it when I found a pair of slippers but you have to pay online for TU clothes and the vouchers can’t be used online.
We have a 2 year old so stocking filers are a possibility. Please hit me with your best suggestions so that I can wipe the smug look off dh’s face. Grin

This! Because who doesn’t need a creepy looking raven decoration? I think I’ll buy two..

What @Annandale said.

AA batteries, pack of 4 £3.99. Always needed.

Put them in the remote control and then literally every time he changes channel, volume etc, remind him of where they came from and how much. Have a 6 month and 1 year birthday party for them and keep it going FOREVER! Grin

In this situation, we go for batteries or printer paper.
But with Xmas around the corner, I might look for stocking fillers first.

MumW · 23/10/2018 10:55

Can they be used on Tu clothing?
If so, socks, tights, vest top...

LBOCS2 · 23/10/2018 11:05

Ooh, I like @legocardsagain's plan. That would really rub his nose in it 😁

MissSingerbrains · 23/10/2018 11:06

They sell chocolate, don’t they? Near the tills, Christmas and gift type things? Can’t reserve them online but they are in store.

Unless it’s a Sainsbury’s type Argos.

Sitranced · 23/10/2018 11:07

Can you not use the voucher towards higher purchase value?

alligatorsmile · 23/10/2018 11:11

We got a talking minion for £3.99, it's bloody great!

Shocksandboooos · 23/10/2018 11:16

Oh you are good!!!
Batteries are a good idea and I like the ongoing torment that I could inflict with them.
Dd would like the flashing star thing that Bertie linked a lot bit it is out of stock near to us.
Yes, sitranced I could put them towards a higher value item. That would be the adult thing to do but I can’t think of anything that we need right now and it wouldn’t have the same impact on being able to shout “In your face looser!” at dh.

The raven is very tempting too. I could keep him out all year and buy him seasonal accessories..... Santa hat, Cupid wings, bunny ears..., the possibilities are endless! Grin

Oh yes to the accessorised raven and stand it on his bedside table too peering at him with its beady eyes.
