Fanny condensation

On plastic chairs. Just me?

Please tell me it's not just me. It happened tonight at school parents meeting. Stood up after a nice chat with the maths teacher and there is it, the diamond shaped condensation patch of doom.

I nearly name changed because i am very embarrassed, but fuck it.

Mind, because a cardboard box doesn't have body heat, I expect.

shortbreadsharon · 10/11/2016 18:28

Definitely embarrassing ☹️

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:28

I don't feel threatened.

Of course the liquid is coming from the source of humid air- just that humidity has come from somewhere- urine, discharge or sweat.
I have a hot bum, never leave a trail on furniture though.

SapphireStrange · 10/11/2016 18:30

Mind.

The humidity comes from the heat in the body.

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:31

glasscircles- no I have never noticed that happening with tea. Always dry underneath unless I have dribbled.

GlassCircles · 10/11/2016 18:33

just that humidity has come from somewhere- urine, discharge or sweat.

No it doesn't HAVE to as any air in a room (trapped or otherwise) will contain moisture. Though people can contribute to the moisture levels in the room by breathing, sweating etc. That still doesn't mean that the patch is comprised of sweat, urine etc.

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:35

saphhire how can fluid come from heat?

Heat is a measure of energy. Fluid is the presence of water. Heat cannot create moisture. That's nuts.

The humidity must come from fluid somewhere in that area.

PerspicaciaTick · 10/11/2016 18:37

So, when you see your breath on a cold morning is that spit?

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:37

glasscircles- but if that is true then why doesn't it happen to men- or many other women?
We are not all that different. Except in the amount of groin effluent we produce.

Lizsmum · 10/11/2016 18:39

Mindtrope -- have you ever thought that you might just be a little unobservant? Try pouring a glass of chilled water, maybe even pop an ice cube or two in the glass, and notice what appears on the outside of the glass. Warm air, cold glass >>> condensation. .

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:39

PerspicaciaTick yes.

Saliva and moisture from the epithelial lining of the lungs- did you think that came from the air?

rockcake · 10/11/2016 18:39

Never had fanny condensation or even heard of it....!
Maybe I'm a just a cold fish. Am I right to be worried?

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 10/11/2016 18:40

it's a hot cold thing....

toast is hardly know for its vaginal secretions or leaky bladders, but put a warm bit of toast on a cold plate and LO!!! you have toast sweat.

but hey, if you think that your undercarriage and bladder are crisp, dry and superior to the laws of physics then please, carry on.

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:41

Warm air, cold glass >>> condensation.

No. Warm air, a source of moisture and cold glass - condensation.

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:43

But yes water comes out of the bread though- not the air.

Even toast has a high level of moisture- which simply supports the idea that this wetness is from the groin- or toast.

PerspicaciaTick · 10/11/2016 18:43

Mind, did you not study sign at school. Air contains moisture. When warm air hits a cool surface the moisture condenses on the surface forming condensation.
When you fly and ice forms on the window it is moisture in the air freezing on contact with the plane. It isn't because the plane is sweaty or the stewardess peed out the door.

raymondothegreat · 10/11/2016 18:50

This hasn't happened to me. funny tho I cant help thinking what if you sit on someone else's fanny condensation eww I have parents evening next week I wont want to sit down now lmao 😂

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:51

tick- I did not study sign at school. Whatever that means.

If the water is condensing out of the air then why isn't the seat wet before you sit on it?

And I know the answer- because the groin is a source of moisture.
From sweat, secretions or urine.

For condensation to happen there has to be a source of moisture.- A humid crotch.

GoodEnough15 · 10/11/2016 18:51

Ah yes. Cuntensation Blush

GlassCircles · 10/11/2016 18:51

Yes some of the moisture will have evaporated from the toast, but the point is that if you put a dry but hot upturned mug on a cold plate, then removed it, you would still have condensation on the plate.

Mindtrope · 10/11/2016 18:54

But why doesn't it happen to all people then- that's nuts.

Some women just have wetter groins than others.

I'm glad I don't leave a trail of slime behind me.

SheWhoDaresGins2 · 10/11/2016 18:54

The bit that tickles me... the ones who are saying it's obviously secretion/seepage are mainly the ones who have never experienced it.

They have also ignored the male poster CockacidalManiac up thread who posted saying he gets it but at the back end. Are you implying his arse is leaking? Pretty sure it would be a tad more obvious if an arse leaked. Clearly more a heat/cold/air +hard surface equation.

SheWhoDaresGins2 · 10/11/2016 18:55

Sorry for highlighting your hot bot btw CockacidalManiac Wink

MinnieTM · 10/11/2016 18:56

It's very real QuiteLikely5

GlassCircles · 10/11/2016 18:57

Water isnt slimy.
