When Moldy Voldy comes back in the film he doesn't have a nose, so seeing as a penis doesn't have bone like a nose id guess he is a virgin as he wouldn't of shagged bellatrix when he came back as I doubt he would of had a cock.

Unless he had shacked up with some of the girls at hogwarts and that was the real reason he was wandering around the corridors at night when he found Hagrid and Aragog.

There is a lot of fan theory about sex in HP. I think the Death Eaters had orgies, Malfoy Manor seemed the perfect setting with all the dungeons. And Bellatrix was unquestionably into bloodplay and the like.

I don't think LV participated. I think he would've observed and controlled it all though.

Regarding Snape, LV says in the last battle that "there were other women, of purer blood" (I think I've got that right). So Snape was up to something with at least a few lasses, or at least he allowed LV to think he was. I personally always shipped Snape and Narcissa Malfoy

In terms of schools and student numbers, in the last couple of weeks Pottermore just put out the details of other international wizard ivy schools.

And overseas boarding definitely happened; Draco's parents disagreed over sending him to Durmstrang.

rearoftheyear I think you mean when Harry is looking through Snapes memories, and he sees the one where Snape begs Voldemort to spare Lilly, that's when Voldemort says there are others of purer blood. I think Voldemort would have spared Lilly if she'd handed Harry over, but only as a reward for Snape bringing him information.

I can see Narcissa and Snape together, now it's been mentioned. After the unbreakable vow, when Lucius was in Azkaban. Or maybe even before, and that's why she felt she could confide in him.

I'm just looking now (because I am a loser ) Harry is carrying on about how SS's patronising was a doe etc, and LV says "He desired her, that was all, but when had gone he agreed that there were other women, and of purer blood, worthier of him-"

So now the bit about Snape agreeing makes me think he probably did just let LV think he was shagging pure blood women, when he was actually just a lonely old virgin pining his life away.

Which sucks, because I really do like Snape/Narcissa. The Unbreakable Vow was fraught with sexual tension!

I never understood the length of the school day/lessons.

They seem to go straight to supper after the last lesson - but they have a maximum of 6 lessons a day. with break after 1&2, lunch after 3&4, supper after 5&6. so make each period 1hr and the day start at 9am.

P1 9-10
P2 10-11
Break 11-11.30?
P3 11.30-12.30
P4 12.30-13.30
Lunch 13.30-14.30
P5 14.30-15.30
P6 15.30-16.30
Dinner - at 16.45?

I think Voldemort was asexual, but I am sure that Tom Riddle was snagging his way through Hogwarts. He was handsome and tragic, teenage girls would have fallen at his feet. He'd have snagged and moved on, leaving a trail of broken hearts.

Regarding wizard contraception, I think they have a contraceptive potion and/or condoms (goblin made, maybe?). Harry and Ginny were definitely shagging in their respective sixth and fifth year. And I reckon Ron lost his virginity to Lavender Brown. What about Hermione? Do you think she lost it to Victor Krum, or Ron?
I think Snape died a virgin. He might have had opportunity with other women, but he'd have been constantly comparing everyone to Lily.
