Just think of the mess!

Yes if by work you mean:

'Making a twat of yourself'

I'm thinking a tube smothered over my tummy ( the problem area ) and then acres of cling film tightly wrapped

Then lie down for an hour and remove!!

Thus stuff shrinks piles doesn't it? I've never suffered from them so don't know for sure but I assume it does the job. So, it'll temporarily shrink my stomach won't it?

It would be in the privacy of my own home!!!

Go on, try it, if it works patent it and make a fortune.

capsium · 13/07/2014 21:42

Why the cream? Just use the shrink wrap. You'll sweat off water retention. Hey presto less bloatedness and less mess.

Laska42 · 13/07/2014 21:42

how are these inch loss wraps supposed to work? ( are they, using something like haemorroid cream)
on which part of bidy do you use them.... genuine question.. complete ignoramous on these .

grumblepuss · 13/07/2014 21:43

ERM... I'm not sure?
Give it a go and report back?

Cutting out crap for a month and doing crunches everyday might have longer lasting results?

punygod · 13/07/2014 21:43

This reminds me of the scene in The Full Monty where Mark Addy's character sits in his shed, wrapped in cling film and eating a Mars bar Grin

nilbyname · 13/07/2014 21:44

On what science are you basing this?

Namechangearoonie123 · 13/07/2014 21:45

Those clay wraps dehydrate.

That's not what pile cream does, not the same science I think.

But you must do and post pictures

We won't laugh

Promise

Miren · 13/07/2014 21:46

was already laughing at the title, then I read your post namechangearoonie Grin

TheWorldAccordingToJC · 13/07/2014 21:46

I'm not a scientist Blush

Was merely thinking about it. As a temporary shrinking measure!

I'm going to do it.

I'm going to buy a tube from Boots tomorrow and some strong cling film and give it a go before work.

I'm not overweight per se, I'm size 10 but my stomach is bloody terrible . I'm getting married next month and thought OOHH that'll work!!!

Ah but pile cream shrinks doesn't it?! It shrinks skin! And that's a fact!

OP posts:
LuckySaint · 13/07/2014 21:53

Try it and report back please :o

Trills · 13/07/2014 21:55

Have fun!

TheWorldAccordingToJC · 13/07/2014 22:00

If it works you'll all be eating your words.

I know it won't dissolve fat but I truly believe it'll temporarily tighten it all up

OP posts:
Laska42 · 13/07/2014 22:06

get a slendertone?

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep · 13/07/2014 22:17

As I always say, there's only one way to find out...

TBF, I think the pile cream shrinks blood vessels, which is not the problem you are facing.

Try sit-ups, core exercises and control pants.

RandallFloyd · 13/07/2014 22:22

Best. Idea. Ever.

Faultless logic and, as yet, un-patented.
You will be rich, rich beyond your wildest dreams.
(And skinny, obvs)

MisForMumNotMaid · 13/07/2014 22:29

its been done, minus the cling film, watch here. Its a bit dull you can slide the bar onto just over five minutes in for results.

TheWorldAccordingToJC · 13/07/2014 22:31

What?!?!

I'm not the first to have this idea?

Bollocks Hmm

OP posts:
MisForMumNotMaid · 13/07/2014 22:32

You can potentially still patent the cream cling film combination. Its all about the method.

MrsKoala · 13/07/2014 22:37

I knew someone who made her own body wraps by mixing (unused) cheap cat litter with hot water to make a wet clay, then smothered it on and wrapped herself in cling film for an hour. Apparently the results were fab. I never tried it myself tho so can't be held responsible for any adverse side effects if you try it.
