Grin

She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground. Grin

Oh god, dds school have announced a 'bake off' ...this will turn into another Ldc. Very competitive parents here :(

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 22/09/2013 12:19

buzzard you have to let us know how it goes... and who gets professionals to bake for them. Wink

CatAmongThePigeons · 22/09/2013 12:22

Buzzard you must enter with Crispy cakes or Eggy Lemon drizzle. Do it for Mumsnet!

Buzzardbird · 22/09/2013 12:46

Oh god, I was planning on either loosing the letter or getting my friend to make it but to make it something really pretentious like quinoa and bats eyelash melody.

Quangle · 22/09/2013 13:01

This is so brilliant. Marmalade, I love you for bringing this into our lives.

I think LDC will go massively passive aggressive and have a breakdown because other people are being so mean to her in that "I've done something wrong but you are really unkind to make me feel bad about it" way that nobbers do so well.

ZiaMaria · 22/09/2013 15:40

"Secondary schools don't have PTAs, do they? So I suppose she is trying to cram in as much power-craziness as she can before her reign of terror ends!"

No - but they do have Parent governors... What's the betting she will apply? And unless someone warns the school about this - she'll probably get the position too.

mrsdowneyjnr · 22/09/2013 15:44

Parents Forums at our secondary school are full to the brim of LDLs. Brilliant, Love them,it's my highlight of the term. Even better than PTA as there is no chance for them to filter.

SarahStrattonIsBackForJustABit · 22/09/2013 16:01

She really does have the hide of a rhino. Holy hell. That poor head!

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/09/2013 17:53

Place marking for tomorrow.

LDC really is a stupid woman!

gintastic · 22/09/2013 17:59

Our PTA are having a joint quiz night/pudding competition in a few weeks. Off to look for lemon drizzle cake recipes... Oh, and having downloaded Harper Valley PTA, it's now DD2 (aged 10 months) favourite tune - she's been bopping along in her high chair while I was making lasagne this afternoon :-)

Dayshiftdoris · 22/09/2013 18:23

Brilliant!!

I have done bowel-squirming stuff with email and text but this is the ultimate 'Reply All' epic fail...

I laughed so much at 'dyking it up' and MrTwatkins 'cake bothering' the dog was concerned for me (child is used to MN mirth)...

Eagerly awaiting Monday - perhaps the HT will punch a cake??

ZiaMaria · 22/09/2013 19:34

On the harper valley high song - "Mrs. Taylor sure seems to use a lot of ice whenever he's away"

Is this to infer she's a drunk?

GrumpyKat · 22/09/2013 19:45

Bring on tomorrow morning and the head's address. What a weekend enhancing thread!

ZiaMaria I thought it implied she had a lot of drinks parties or men over for drinks when her husband was away? But I haven't heard it in ages. Reading this thread has put it in my head, though!

How the hell am I supposed to get through tommorow without calling anyone & everyone an atrocious cunt?

Dilidali · 22/09/2013 21:50

Next cake sale at the school I shall present a LDC. And actually be there when the others hand theirs in. I will report the number of LDC and marmalade cakes baked as a rwsult of this thread.
