She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground.

Oh god, dds school have announced a 'bake off' ...this will turn into another Ldc. Very competitive parents here :(

Oh god, I was planning on either loosing the letter or getting my friend to make it but to make it something really pretentious like quinoa and bats eyelash melody.

I think LDC will go massively passive aggressive and have a breakdown because other people are being so mean to her in that "I've done something wrong but you are really unkind to make me feel bad about it" way that nobbers do so well.

No - but they do have Parent governors... What's the betting she will apply? And unless someone warns the school about this - she'll probably get the position too.

Parents Forums at our secondary school are full to the brim of LDLs. Brilliant, Love them,it's my highlight of the term. Even better than PTA as there is no chance for them to filter.

my friend and i have just become joint chair of the pta, i doubt we will ever achieve the heights of this thread.
i will post details of our first cake sale, mumsnetters will be required to produce cornflake cakes, lemon drizzle cakes or a spectacular marmalade cake and wink at me.

Ds's secondary school has a PTA.....am thinking of joining.

Our PTA are having a joint quiz night/pudding competition in a few weeks. Off to look for lemon drizzle cake recipes... Oh, and having downloaded Harper Valley PTA, it's now DD2 (aged 10 months) favourite tune - she's been bopping along in her high chair while I was making lasagne this afternoon :-)

ZiaMaria I thought it implied she had a lot of drinks parties or men over for drinks when her husband was away? But I haven't heard it in ages. Reading this thread has put it in my head, though!

Next cake sale at the school I shall present a LDC. And actually be there when the others hand theirs in. I will report the number of LDC and marmalade cakes baked as a rwsult of this thread.
