In all seriousness I expect the HT's statement will be more about how emails from individual officers or representatives do not represent the views of the school/governing body. I bet the crisis talks "backstage" have actually been about ascertaining and minimising the school's liability for LDC's outpourings.

There will also be a link to the school's discrimination policies and/or bullying procedure.

It will be dull as fuck. She can't deny an affair because to do so would be to dignify the original email with the scent of plausibility.

A PP said upthread that she'd want to know who the others are involved in this and I'd have to agree. PTA is bad enough but to go in, knowing that 1 or more is a back stabbing bitch but not knowing who it is is something else and something that not many people would want to get involved in.

This can be disasterous for the PTA in general.

Val - we have members of the PTA who's children are no longer with the school. I don't agree with it personally but they do bring a great outsiders point of view as they are not involved with the school on a more personal level. It also depends on what they can bring to the PTA and it's fundraising.

She is secretary at the moment but that will stop once her child goes to secondary school in september. Secondary schools don't have PTAs, do they? So I suppose she is trying to cram in as much power-craziness as she can before her reign of terror ends!

OK so she is doing the usual moaning about having to shift the AGM to a date more suited for another PTA member (who works FT, IIRC) then she starts moaning in earnest about fundraising ideas. I will C&P the first bit then the bit about the head!
