She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds, the thing is, she won't become a real human bean, because she doesn't see that she has done anything wrong, or different from anyone else. In the same way that everyone here has blown minds from realising how utterly pathetically and sincerely nasty she actually is inside, she would be very confused to see inside your head and would gaze around at the absence of bitchy resentment in the way a Victorian would dismally survey a modernist dining room. "but.... but... how do you live like this? Surely you don't live like this?"

I still plan to go through life thinking, every time someone is snotty to me, "oh I bet she is stressed and in a hurry and had no idea how that sounded". Because it is usually true, and because whether true or not is a nicer way to live. BUT a horrible part of me is secretly THRILLED to discover that some people are REAL LIVE DELIBERATE BITCHES. It is like a car crash of a reality TV show. It is like seeing a tiger in the wild.

We have a cake sale at dds new school next friday. Would the quickest way of finding out who the mn mums are be

1 make a lemon drizzle cake
2 make rice crispy cakes
3 rock up wearing an I punch cakes pinni?

Damefanny: the PTA could do the whole serious of seminars on Internet safety, homophobia, bullying etc and charge an attendance fee. Thus making money out of the debacle and further embarrassing LDC.

Hecksy said exactly what I was thinking. She was well used to this bitching by email to her circle. Into which, of course, no interlopers were welcome. I agree she will be remembered alright, but not in the way she hopes. I feel sorry for her child. Apart from anything else, she has a lot of extra free time now on her hands to devote to him.
Marmalade, the school should get an effigy made of her, and charge a pound a throw for people to fling something at it. Well, obviously that can't happen, but I like the idea, as a fundraiser.

That original email must be libelous? Head and Vera should sue and(if they see fit) donate the damages. Then LDC woman can rightly say she was central to the raising of the play equipment money

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the head at least sued for libel, because it is a professional reputation thing. You just can't have PTA officers going around casually accusing you of having an affair with a parent.

Obviously everyone knows LDC was talking out of her arse, but if I were the head I'd want to set a strong precedent that bitching me out in an email to your friends is absolutely not on if you're supposed to be working for the school. And I'd want to know if this reflected a more general culture of the PTA.

Any update from after school pick up Marmalade?
