Grin

She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground. Grin

Just told dh about this thread and he proper howled with laughter at dyking it up.

She really has no shame does she?

dinkystinky · 20/09/2013 13:51

Wow - this thread has it all - drama, angst, divine retribution. Suspect LDC will have to go into the witless protection scheme after that non-apology of a follow up email.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 20/09/2013 13:51

Twatters you are a star, thank you for the updates.

Cannot believe the cheek of this woman. I wonder how many of her so-called friends are going to stand by her.

I honestly didn't believe there were such vile, nasty people in the world! I wouldn't even think half of those things, let alone write them.

I mean, if I had been happily doing crappy clip-art posters for school events for several years a la LDC, and a graphic designer type (Vera) came along and elbowed in on my turf, my feelings might be a bit hurt and I would probably be a bit embarrassed about having hurt feelings about something fairly trivial, and anyways I would recognise that the new posters were nicer than my ones were, might mention to a close friend over coffee that I was struggling with Vera usurping the poster-making position... Gaaaah for fuck's sake what I honestly would do is probably make friends with Vera so we could do the posters together.

She is an utter, utter nutcase and I hope that this opens her eyes to how vile she is and that she mends her ways. What do you think she is, 35 or 40-ish? Plenty of time to turn herself into a proper human bean.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 20/09/2013 13:53

Wow, reading that back I sound like a pious holier-than-thou cunt of the highest order.... sometimes I can be bitchy, really I can, honest Grin

3birthdaybunnies · 20/09/2013 13:54

Marmalade really needs a good reply all e-mail back. It must of course include reference to lemon drizzle cake!

PhantomMenace · 20/09/2013 13:55

There are no words for women like this Shock

burberryqueen · 20/09/2013 13:56

hamncheese · 20/09/2013 14:00

Must go and revert my answer of "nothing" in the morning sickness relief thread now... Made my day reading it all!

PaleHousewifeOfCumbriaCounty · 20/09/2013 14:05

I would like LDC to post in AIBU

MeAndMySpoon · 20/09/2013 14:13

My jaw muscles are hurting from all the Shock. Grin

The crack about the 'interlopers' just reinforces my suspicions about how the inner circle of the PTA feel about the hapless parents that get mugged in the playground and roped into helping with fundraisers. Hmm Nice.

IAmADonkeyOnTheEdge · 20/09/2013 14:13

OMG - I have been on MN on and off for a couple of years, mainly a lurker until I got my courage up recently - and love it. but having just found the Mumsnet Classics - I am now crying with laughter and NOt doing any work ! Shame on me! I am still giggling now at some of the comments - thanks all

LumpySpace · 20/09/2013 14:15

This is amazing!

LilyAmaryllis · 20/09/2013 14:17

Heart if someone came along who could do brilliant posters I would think "Thank goodness I don't have to do that any more and aren't they great!"

Portofino · 20/09/2013 14:18

Oh wow! Just wow! Grin

saintlyjimjams · 20/09/2013 14:25

Oh. My. God

I haven't read the whole thread, but now need to. Oh. My. God.

Bramblesinforrin · 20/09/2013 14:27
Shock
reelingintheyears · 20/09/2013 14:38

Makes me almost wish my kids were still at school so I could join the PTA.
The awful realisation in the pit of her stomach just after she sent it Grin

MerryMarigold · 20/09/2013 14:44

Ooooh she is HARD and has so many barriers up it's untrue - I think she's unloved and become unlovable...I can't believe the 'non-apology' email. It takes courage and vulnerability to be sorry.

sparkle12mar08 · 20/09/2013 14:45

You know, I think I'd have to reply all to that pathetic 'apology' email, I just couldn't let her get away with it. Something like this:

"From a personal point of view, and I do not speak for anyone apart from myself, I think your resignation is the only acceptable outcome to this situation, and I am afraid that your record with the PTA and reputation within the school has indeed been tarnished by your frankly libellous and defamatory homophobic remarks. Nor do I believe it is out of character. I hope this incident allows you to reflect on your behaviour and the impact it has on others. Yours, Marmalade"

I suspect that once one person states just exactly how unacceptable it is there will be dozens more.
