She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

The easy way she emailed shows very clearly that both her and all those she THOUGHT she was emailing regularly, comfortably and happily bitch their arses off at every opportunity. Thelot of them.
It is only that shes been exposed.
there is no way on earth that she was emailing like that to people who werent well used to behaving like that.
my guess is the whole group of them get together all the time and laugh and sneer.
Shes been shown for what she is. Its the rest of them that havent. Id be wanting to know who they were, tbh.
theyll let her sink by herself, of course. They wil no doubt stick the boot in too. Expect to hear examples of previous terrible things shes said and how disgusted they were.

Presumably she's also relocating internationally. There is really no way to come back from sending a rude email including phrases like 'a fucking moron with a photoshop package' and 'dying it up'.

Her first email also rubbished all the work of the PTA, so I'm not sure what she thinks her legacy is other than lemony scrambled egg and reply to all.

I have spent since breakfast reading the original and this thread. I nearly rolled off my chair at PUNCH THE CAKE, and am now guffawing at Dorothy, Vera and Deirdre.

But OMG, who the hell swears like that in an email, regardless of how much they swear in real life?

I do think there will be more than one vacancy on the PTA. If you were one of those to whom the email was intended to be sent, just how squirmy would you be feeling now?

Twatters you should stand, and make it a PTA run by proxy (you) by MN. I bet a MN run PTA could raise that £11K. All you would need to do would be to filter 90% of the more "extreme" ideas.

TBH I would have been disappointed if she had apologised nicely. I wonder how long it will be before she's making her presence felt again. Whatever funraisers the PTA do now it won't ever be as good as when she was doing it.

BTW, our PTA made loads of money last year by having a Christmas Bazaar. I'm not on the PTA but I helped out with the crafts. We spent two days in the school in late November and set up craft tables in the hall. Then we had one class at a time for less than an hour each and they made a Christmas thing that was appropriate for their age group. The youngest painted white paint onto large pine cones and then sprinkled glitter, some of the top class sewed felt iPhone covers. They all had a ball making things and the teachers were happy as they got a chance to stand back and have a coffee while the volunteer parents got covered in glue and glitter. Then a couple of weeks later before school there was a bazaar to sell everything that was made. The children were allowed to start class 15 mins late so that they could shop too.

The only thing uncharacteristic about that outburst was that it wasn't just to her select group of minions.

Interlopers and all sorts got to hear it too.

Surely she must have apologised to the HT.

Saffron and Hec very true, very wise. Hec - if her "friends" do start drip-feeding past indiscretions, this could turn into a very long-running thread indeed. MN may even decide to let it have its own spin-off website

The cheek of that email though. My god. This is the start of a campaign to turn it into a story of her being hounded out despite all her hard work and wonderfulness and sweaty cakes, because she was the only one with the courage to speak out about favouritism in the PTA. "Dyking it up" will of course be either a typo or a malicious rumour.

God I love this. It will be a shame if everyone just pretends that email didn't happen though.
