Grin

She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground. Grin

Easily the best thing ive ever read ever. In the whole internets.

MurderOfGoths · 20/09/2013 10:46

Even DH is now wandering around the house shaking his head and muttering "dyking it up??"

I am so on the school run with you next Wednesday, bab.

This I need to see!

yegodsandlittlefishes · 20/09/2013 10:51

How can someone do something like that (I can't actually imagine writing anything like that though) and then not send out a full apology and offer their own head on a plate the very next second? Or at least the same day? And then not show her face? Does she not know there is no escaping from this, or is this how she has always swept away her past blunders or is it that she thinks she has done nothing wrong?

TalkativeJim · 20/09/2013 10:51

Oh the JOY of this thread, the beauty, the wonder.

I get this horrid, lurching feeling in my stomach and my bowels turn to mush. AND I DIDN'T EVEN SEND IT.

Whatever else happens in your lifetime Twatkins - you will always have had this time. Always.

CeliaFate · 20/09/2013 10:53

What's the betting that LDC will have a "stress related illness" rendering her incapable of doing the school run for the rest of the term and unfortunately will mean her resignation from the PTA?

Purplemonster · 20/09/2013 10:54

Shock oh my word. She's too busy looking for a new house a long long way away to do the school run...

InLoveWithDavidTennant · 20/09/2013 10:57

never before have i read a thread so open mouthed! Shock

but... this is a bloody brilliant update! i was on the other thread, how wrong was i when i thought it couldnt get any better than that Grin

oh its wonderfully awful isnt it? and well done for getting dh involed too

and thank you for getting me to forget the shit thats going round in my head

and thank you... just, thank you! Grin

HumphreyCobbler · 20/09/2013 10:57

I started to try to imagine how she must have felt when she realised. Then I stopped. I am eight months pregnant, it might send me into labour.

So I will laugh instead.

Especially at the reply to all pinny

Kamchatka · 20/09/2013 10:59

Just as an aside, our PTA has raised about 10k in a year btw.
I forget how they did it (I hate all PTA stuff, mainly after reading threads on here from PTA queen bees Grin ) but there was more to it than selling cakes in a cold shelter.

I suggest you put forward the idea of a craft fair and order a job lot of Reply To All canvas bags, aprons etc. Do it soon, they will sell like hot cakes (or rather better).

CeliaFate · 20/09/2013 11:05

You could have a whole range of gifts, like these

SauceForTheGander · 20/09/2013 11:07

I'm going to have to hide my phone today else I'll ignore everything but this thread. I'm proper excited.

Instead of "did you mean to be so rude" it should be "hey LDC did you mean to reply to all? Oopsie"

Mr Vera sounds ace. I wonder if he'll do pick up and how he will avenge Mrs Vera and the posters. And Mr Twatters will be swept up in the moment I'm sure. I can feel the electrical buzz from here. Roll on pick up!

You live in a village? I hadn't realised. A friend once obviously joked in her village post office that she's wasn't going to buy her sausages from the local butchers and 4 people refused to speak to her for a year.

LDC has to move. She will be calling estate agents - once she stops vomiting / shaking / muttering "ohmufuckingcuntingshit" .

MadBusLady · 20/09/2013 11:08

Still nothing from her? She is making it worse. It's the pretending it's not happening that gets you every time. Just like in the West Wing.

nauticant · 20/09/2013 11:09

If there's concern about fund raising, the Head could always ask LDC to consult a solicitor about how much would be reasonable for her to pay to settle a libel claim like this. There's got to be a few thousand in it.

Kamchatka · 20/09/2013 11:14

I'm imaginign it a bit like that scene in Being John Malkovitch.
Every parent at the school gate is wearing a Reply To All t-shirt, carrying a Reply To All bag, every child has a sticker on their bag, the school sends home notes with Reply To All emblazoned across them. The school has adopted Reply To All as their new motto and the cross-class project for the new term is a massive Reply To All banner for display in the hall, complete with sparkly embroidered lemon drizzle cakes in each corner

PeoniesPlease · 20/09/2013 11:17

Hahaha!

Just read both threads.

Hahaha!

That is all.

SongBirdsKeepSinging · 20/09/2013 11:18

How can anyone be so stupid as to actually send that e-mail?!

luckyclucky · 20/09/2013 11:18

OMG Grin
I am crying here with laughter, there is too much good stuff in the whole thread to comment on & my fingers won't work from shaking with laughter.

Totally get the Reply to all aprons Grin Grin Grin

CeliaFate · 20/09/2013 11:19

REPLY TO ALL should be the school's new mission statement. Grin

Dubjackeen · 20/09/2013 11:20

I am guessing that she has always brazened things out previously, and probably hopes to do the same this time, albeit lying low for a short while. Ugh, imagine the sick feeling you would get if you realised you had sent an email to wrong recipients. Then again, I guess you would have to be a grade A bi-atch to write the likes of that, in the first place.

MrsCakesPremonition · 20/09/2013 11:21

She should have apologised and resigned yesterday. Although that would have severely limited my enjoyment of this thread.

MrsPnut · 20/09/2013 11:22

I am on the PTA and am very careful how I do my bitching. Never put it in writing is my motto and be careful who you're sat next to in the pub too!

ExcuseTypos · 20/09/2013 11:22

Horror and Joy all wrapped up in a perfect little packageGrin

Peachy · 20/09/2013 11:23

As former Secretary of the PTA I am now SO glad I skipped the AGM yesterday and decided to let someone else do it.

Thank you!
