Calling all overseas MNers - My lovely boy has written some letters

He's 7, and is quite taken by stamps.
He's written several letters (I'll give you an example in a minute), and I wondered if there might be some MNers in foreign parts who might help him :)

Here is one of his letters ( in very best joined-up writing:))

Dear Jamaica

If I writ you a letter, please will you send me one back, so I can see your stamps.
I am from England (Great Britan)
Good luck in the Olympics

There are similar letters for several countries, and his plan is to put them in an envelope with the country name on the outside, and several stamps.

Would anyone be able to send him a letter with a stamp on?

No pony stamp yet!
But a packet from Japan, including a whole sheet of stamps, a pack of Pokemon stickers (which have been squirrelled away somewhere by a small excited boy!) and a pack of menko cards.
And, a letter from Germany with some football stickers (also been squirrelled away)

Oh God! Not only have I not sent a stamped letter.....I have forgotten to post my Father's day cards.....

Portofino - I can top that. I haven't posted: the postcard, father's day card, father's birthday card, brother's birthday card, dh's father's day card from the children (he works abroad) and dh's birthday card (although his birthday is on Monday but everything else should have been posted last week).

Am suffering major guilt. Good news is, the postcard has got the stamps already on it and I asked the bloke to put as many different stamps as he could (which was a bit of challenge as it was only 12 kroner but he managed to get 5 different kinds on).

I will pop the postcard in the letterbox tomorrow on the way to work and I will leave work 20 mins early to go via postoffice to send the other stuff. Honest guv.

There's been a lovely picture from France, a very well written letter from Greece, and a gorgeous picture from Australia. :o

A letter from Ireland, another from Australia with four fish stamps, which O is very impressed with!

A postcard from Venice with some other stamps, a postcard from Romania, a letter from Belgium with mythical creatures stamps inside (O loves "miffical beasts")

And finally, the pony stamp has arrived! O is so impressed that you have bears and cougars living near you, and wants to go and stay with you :o (he's been rather challenging tonight, and I was quite tempted to post him to you!)

We've had so many lovely, interesting letters and postcards, I really can't thank you enough.
O has been asked to take them all into school next week, to show his friends - he's very excited about it!
I suspect some of his favourites have made their way under his pillow, I may have to rescue them :o

Tell him that as well as the bears and cougars, we sometimes get great white sharks. And, an octopus was captured on camera eating a seagull . Canada does wild animals very well. I'm afraid I am quite broody for another child at the moment so please post him with a return SAE just in case.
