Calling all overseas MNers - My lovely boy has written some letters

He's 7, and is quite taken by stamps.
He's written several letters (I'll give you an example in a minute), and I wondered if there might be some MNers in foreign parts who might help him :)

Here is one of his letters ( in very best joined-up writing:))

Dear Jamaica

If I writ you a letter, please will you send me one back, so I can see your stamps.
I am from England (Great Britan)
Good luck in the Olympics

There are similar letters for several countries, and his plan is to put them in an envelope with the country name on the outside, and several stamps.

Would anyone be able to send him a letter with a stamp on?

I haven't seen South Africa here (although it is early for me and I may have missed it). I could ask MIL if she can ask one of her friends to send a letter if you like? Or she may have some stamps knocking about already. PM me anyway.

I'm in Kazakhstan - PM me if you think he'd like a letter from here! Mind you the postal service is a bit dodgy so it might take a while to arrive

Wilding :o DH said last night that he bet no-one would answer from Kazakhstan!
He also mentioned Azerbaijan, so we'll wait and see!

Awww, this is lovely. I am no help to you as I live in England and won't be leaving the country this year, but I hope he really enjoys all his post.

I've got stamps from France, the US, Russia, Holland, Germany, the Phillippines and Austria if you want them. And loads from the UK! PM me if you want them sent. I've been saving them for ages for some reason.
I'm going to France and Holland soon, so I could send postcards from there.

I wonder if I could ask my cousin- she's French and five, nearly six- to be a penpal....I mean they could send each other pictures?

I remember something similar to this last year, a little boy had lost his teddy and mum told him ted had gone on a trip so we all sent postcards
