Namechanged for obvious reasons. :(

My minge is itching like buggery. No discharge/whiffiness, just a very itchy vulva (as per namechange Wink) Have done a Caneten pessary on saturday and been applying the cream but nothing is working.

Suggestions please? And don't say "wash yer minge" Wink

Ah, but obvious humour is the worst. You need to work at laughing. Earn the right to giggle, not have it handed to you! In the good old days....

Hmm Grin

BupcakesandCuntWorms · 24/01/2012 09:22

Southeast I have never seen you post anything amusing, or vaguely amusing, in my time on Mumsnet.

In fact, I think it's just me you have a problem with. This is the third thread you've been on making snarky remarks in less than a week. If you've got a problem, spit it out babe.

Thumbwitch · 24/01/2012 09:23

P'raps she doesn't like your name, Buppers? Y'know, like some people get all lemonsucky mouths about it?

BupcakesandCuntWorms · 24/01/2012 09:32

No, she doesn't like it. She appeared on a thread I was on the other week to aim a badly punctuated post at me telling me that me username was crap.

I suppose it is, in comparison to hers, the username that just keeps on giving.

Meh, let's ignore it now. It's nice to have been on a thread with no snarky twunts on it. Let's not let one derail it with their own special brand of bitchiness/bitterness. :)

OracleInaCoracle · 24/01/2012 09:36

theres something I never thought I'd type

Ignore. I am ill and this thread made me feel better yesterday (apart from the fact that it made my raw gums bleed, thanks to laughing)

Oh Lissie, was it your op' yesterday?

OracleInaCoracle · 24/01/2012 09:41

It was saturday. I felt ok saturday. And sunday come to that. But now the anaesthetic has worn off and I feel bloody dreadful. Luckily dh has taken the day off work so I can sleep and take drugs and feel sorry for myself!

BupcakesandCuntWorms · 24/01/2012 09:46

Ouch. :(

What painkillers have you got? When I had my wisdom tooth out I was given codydramol and they were effing brilliant. So much so that I did get a bit addicted to them for a bit. Blush Swishing warm salt water around your trap helps too.

Thumbwitch · 24/01/2012 09:50

My friend had a fingernail op - the nail bed had been damaged and she tried to get the nail flattened. Anyway - her BF was a vet and gave her horse-strength painkillers to help - still didn't! Just wondering if you know any vets... Grin

Codafen is good as well... but I think that's a POM.

OracleInaCoracle · 24/01/2012 09:59

Grin I'm on 30/500 cocodomol. I take 15/500 regularly because of my ribs anyway) dh is being a star and feeding me ice cream.

Ouchee at losing nail!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 24/01/2012 10:19

are you able to take anti-inflammatories..they are good for dental pain..

(I work for a dentist)

OracleInaCoracle · 24/01/2012 10:47

I can't Sad they have wrecked my stomach. Just had a huge panic attack. Could breathe and had palpitations. I feel really sick and dizzy.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 24/01/2012 10:57

mine too.. :( hope you are OK.. pain can do that to you :(

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 24/01/2012 11:01

fwiw the advice I am always told to give is that things should gradually be getting better and not worse, so if you feel the pain is getting worse I would call the dentist..

BupcakesandCunting · 24/01/2012 11:01

Oh Lissie, bab.

Are you OK? I know panic attacks well. Lie down and take in nice, long breaths if you can. Concentrate on the feeling of your lungs filling with air. Have a sleep too. PAs usually knock the stuffing out of me and make me feel more panicky.

OP posts:
Thumbwitch · 24/01/2012 11:04

yep - call the dentist in case of infection, do it pronto.
Panic attacks - breathe OUT. Keep breathing OUT until you can't do it any more - hyperventilation is because you have too little CO2 and too much O2 in your blood, even though that sounds completely wrong. Or get a paper bag and breathe into it (keep it tight closed around your mouth)

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 24/01/2012 11:11

Dry sockets are very very painful and common with wisdom tooth extractions..easily treated too...

Take care, am off to work :)

VikingVagine · 24/01/2012 11:54

The weirdest advice that I was given when I had my wisdom teeth out was to stretch my jaw regularly by putting three fingers between my teeth. It hurt when I did it but it worked.

OracleInaCoracle · 24/01/2012 12:06

Thank you all, have had a doze and feel a little better but mouth is still bleeding. Its my own fault for getting cocky with my "wisdom teeth, piece of piss" attitude. I'm using salt water mouthwash

www.webmd.com/oral-health/dry-socket-symptoms-and-treatment check this Lissie, just to be on the safe side. A colleague of mine had it after having his wisdom teeth out. :(
