Do you know what sex the kittens are?

I wanted to name our cat Lafayette, but was not allowed. Sad

ime cats nearly always have a 'kitten name' that they're referred to when tiny and usually no one has a clue about the sex and then they get a grown up name when they're bigger/rehomed to their permanent family.

So you can call tiny kittens all sorts of ridiculous names that a cat would never fit.... we've had Scruffy, Squeky, Slash, Gizmo, Whiteface, Little Black Cat and loads of other daft names.

Mom definitely needs a proper name though.

One must be called Commodore Fluffypaws

I met a cat recently called Barton - very cool I thought!

Laweasel- Lafayette is indeed a cool name for a cat. i dont have a cat, but if i did it would be called this.

Have tried and failed 5 times to load a pic. How vair frustrating! Kitty is a lil girly, not sure about the others, trying to avoid human smell and all that.

Grin at Commodore Fluffypaws :)

There was once a cat on the news (one of those feelgood stories about a cat commuting on a bus or something) and it was called Seargent Podge. A BRILLIANT name for a cate I always thought. But difficult to name a kitten that as you don't know what it will look like when its a bit older

Well done for looking after the cat&kittens, though you do realise that your sons will probably never let you give them away now!

I'd love to find a cat and kittens, it's the only way DH would accept another cat in the house. I've been tempted to just go and one from a rescue place and pretend I've found it on the side of the road Shock

She's so tiny and adorable!

I also feel strongly she should be named fuzzyface. Grin

Is there one that looks like a lafayette to fulfil mine and cherry's cool cat name wish?

There is one white one with black dots like a dalmation, and a white one with ginger splodges...would lafayette be a dotty or a ginge?!

I'm a little Envy about the kittens!

I have my old girl who has been with me for 16 years after the neighbours 'tomcat' got pregnant and gave birth whilst they were away for a week on holiday.

northern you made me laugh out loud!!

I think I'm in danger of exploding via cuteness overload - if she wasn't cute enough, she is now asleep in the crook of my neck, nuzzled into my ear.

Oh - and purring.....

:)

Smile

Sounds like she's doing well. I wonder why mum dumped her then? Did the vet give her a clean bill of health as far as he/she could see?
Is it possible that mum felt she couldn't feed anymore than two?
