I didn't want to be the one to do it! I promise next time I will sellotape my fingers.

Working on it dingdong

Good luck G&T!!!!!

This half term 4 of mine are at soccer camp from 8.30 til 3. As it's nice weather now and i really want to crack on with decorating my lounge and they would be bored in here with me.

Still got the 2 older ones and the 2 youngest ones but the older ones will help with the younger ones. better to do it now than in the summer hols.

MarsLady · 25/05/2007 13:43

Hey all. I'm back! Exhausted but back!

frumpygrumpy · 25/05/2007 14:53

Shall we take bets on LG&T? I bet 3 jaffa cakes its a girl, weight 8lb 1oz. (Did she already tell us its a boy or was she just adamant he would be?)

Kelly....there was an auction? Where the hell have I been?

Our half term is 3 days so not so bad

Mars, pray tell the exhaustion. Filthy stuff only please, I'm feeling naughty.

My nursery isn't closing for half term so no change in the pixi house next week. I was looking forward to getting out of the nursery run and being able to take them all out rambling.
Can't sleep tonight. Dh got home from work at 4.30pm (on early shift 7am-3pm) and went back to work at 9.30pm. Not expecting him back till around 6am. He has to work tomorrow night as well so that's our bank holiday screwed up. How his company think we have time to buy a car and move house when he's not allowed time off is beyond me.
My moles got loped off (30 years old and have my first ever stitches!) and sent for biopsy, results in a month and I now have two stitches in between my breasts and a hole under my armpit, so not a good look.

Can't wait to hear LG&T's news....

piximon · 26/05/2007 01:17

Just realised I sounded really grumpy but I'm not as bad as I was. My mood is lifting. Saw two really really big moths today (together about the size of my hand) just outside my house which got us all really excited.
I have a hair dressers appt booked for tues evening which hopefully won't be cancelled (model night). Feeling really adventurous so not sure what I'm going to have done but they don't usually like to cut very long hair too short on the first go. It'll be my first haircut for a year so they have some work to doas I want a proper hair do and not just a trim or a few layers. I'm toying with the idea of a fringe (last had one when I was 8).
The DTS are begining the weaning process. Fed up with them lunging after my food and the puppy dog looks they keep giving me when I'm eating and they're not.
Oh and managed to get really cheap tickets to the Lord of the Rings Theatre production in a few weeks and can't wait. So lots to keep me upbeat and busy.
Anyway really should try to get some sleep, they're having a party in our town tomorrow to mark the Royal Artillery leaving the area so planning on taking the children along. Need to look my best for all the soldiers lol.

hi everyone else. looking forward to half-term Ben a good Mummy this morning despite having no sleep as still have raging sore throat and back ache, three new pairs of school shoes bought, and bags of library books for homework. All got to do a project on Tudor houses, William Shakespeare and the theatre, and Spanish Armada!!! Good job we cancelled our trip to Cornwall, car just cost £300 in repairs

MarsLady · 26/05/2007 14:20

Ouch! (that's about the car repairs not the Armada project).

inamuckingfuddle · 26/05/2007 18:39

congratulations LG&T but 9lb12 bet that was fun...

how is everyone? We wen to the pub last night for a meal, they got my order wrong, I was v cross and said 'don't you realise this is our first meal out on our own together fro a year - why can't you get the order right?' DH squirmed as I made them go and redo it off to cinema tonight...missing DTs terribly though

hi girls! hows it going?
hope everyone is well! i just wondered if i could ask you all a question on when you delivered twins as i am currently nearly 33 weeks and was told by the doctors i would probably have had them by last thursday! i always thought this was early but as i have had trouble with a weak cervix i agreed.
im now at the point of being huge and finding it so hard to get comfortable walking, sitting or laying down.i would really like them out soon! i no i shouldnt rush it but wondered if there was anything you could recommend to speed it up a little! thanks guys!
Marie (currently the size of a bus!)

inamuckingfuddle · 30/05/2007 08:32

morning all

Welcome Marie, I had mine at 35 weeks, I'd reccommend keeping them in as long as you can, for their sake - although it is horribly uncomfortable at this stage Good luck, let us know how you get on.

FG, apologies for my absence, I have a note from my mum

MarsLady · 30/05/2007 10:42

Welcome welcome welcome Marie

You've come to the right place. Now... when you say the babies have to come out at 33 weeks how are they planning on getting the babies out? Why can they not wait longer? The longer the better or the babes will spend lots of time in SCBU (special care) when they would benefit being inside of you.

Sorry to sound demanding.... but trying to get a better picture.

Twinmummyx2 · 30/05/2007 13:24

Afternoon all, hello Marie!!!

My 1st set were born at 38 weeks by c-section due to their positions.

My 2nd set were born at 40 weeks by c-section because there was no sign of them arriving by themselves.

So even though some multiples are early....some can be late!!!

Have fun,

largeginandtonic · 30/05/2007 13:39

Welcome Marie, keep them in there as long as you can. It will make it easier in the long run, it will not feel like that now though!!!

Im soooo tired, baby Beau is a challenge He is nocturnal and seems to be struggling to adjust to milk in the tummy. He is quite colicky from about 11 to 3 in the morning, just fabby!

He is of curse so gorgeous i can forgive him anything, he was 9lb 2oz not 12oz. Must have been a typo. Thta was plenty big enough! He was my hardest delivery yet i think, the midwife joked she knew 3rds were difficult but not 6ths!

DH gone in to work today till about 9pm so im alone with all 6!!! I may curl in to a ball and cry. Wish me luck!

marie22 · 30/05/2007 16:43

thanks for the welcome! (and the tea and cake! the doctor said i would more then likely have them early because i lost a previous pregnancy because of an incompetient cerivx but its been a miricle so far i have no problems other then some bleeding in the first terimester. i have been on bed rest for what seems like forever so im glad to have found the website! its really insiteful to see experienced multipule mums! and am glad for any advise
