Am off to tackle my mane of unruly hair and then the baby may come out

frumpygrumpy · 22/05/2007 15:50

Box him and send him here when he's done won't you estar

LG&T, PMSL about unruly hair. Take it you mean you're off to shave your pubic triangle into a heart shape?

I'ms till finding it impossible to keep up with this thread! I've been busy being a good mummy, tidying up the garden, homemade chicken nuggets, couple of bottles of white wine...

Get that baby out of there, largegin! Break out the caster oil.

triplets, I'm beginngin to see what you mean. Mine have been fighting and causing ttrouble most of the day, and I did find myself wondering what it will be like when they can actually talk and plan trouble!

hope everyone is well, hm, hope things are improving for you?
Welcome to josiex4, good luck cutting the arpon strings. Mine scream now everytime I drive past the leisure center where their preschool is. I shouldn't be so mean, but I can't help giggling at them, when we are jsut heading to sainsburys.

frumpygrumpy · 22/05/2007 16:03

finally Kelly wanders in [sarcasm emoticon] What time do you call this young lady?

OP posts:
Kelly1978 · 22/05/2007 16:04

I'm soooo sowwi steve - have you missed me?

btw, I posted saying I'd decided not to elt the dts go, the answers on that thread were unanimous so I feel better about saying no to it.

largeginandtonic · 22/05/2007 18:58

Nope FG DH tackled that a couple of weeks ago, let him loose with the bottle of imaac. I asked for a landing strip to be left.......im not sure a micro plane could land on it

I straightened my hair (head...PMSL) this morning, GHD's are my friend So ready for the baby now....come on then....anytime now.....OH FFS

MarsLady · 22/05/2007 19:06

lg&t... you know you're enjoying the whole drama of it all. lol

frumpygrumpy · 22/05/2007 19:41

lg&t at immac story

I love it that you straightened your hair for the baby coming. I mean, I know my name is fg but I share those standards (even though I don't own hair straigheners, yet), girl after my own heart Kitchens arsed up, hearts fractured, but lips glossy.

lg&t - I had my hair 'done' the day before my induction, I looked terrible in post labour photos but at least my hair looked nice

8 week checked & jabs tomorrow afternoon - not looking forward to it

Kelly1978 · 23/05/2007 12:29

I have great news to share with you all. here

largeginandtonic · 23/05/2007 13:08

Have posted for you Kelly, such brilliant news

Mars stop torturing me...... drama indeed.... as if i need any more of that I would happily settle for a boring birth no new boxes ticked please. They will be pulling it out of me Friday anyway, im not bloody moving unless they agree to do something Im guessing 10lb now >

OOOGS good luck with today, hope it goes well. Hope fully we get to meet up again next week with a baby!

FG my hair is done, my toenails painted and im having a bath and making sure my legs are fuzz free each night before i go to bed incasei go into to labour. Lunchboxes are being sorted the night before and clothes laid out

Twinmummyx2 · 23/05/2007 15:40

Awwwww poor you largeG&T..it could be worse, it could be mid summer and boiling hot, at least you will have you ickle one before then!!!! My 4th was 10lb at 38 weeks, they said my 4th was even bigger, he came out at a small 8lb 5 at 40 weeks....so they can get smaller again..

It's very exciting!!!!

My sister is due in just under 4 weeks too......i can't wait to smell a newborn again.x

frumpygrumpy · 23/05/2007 16:54

I had my hair cut and coloured just before the DTs were born My usual hairdresser had gone off to have a baby and I used a small, local salon. HUGE mistake. Its only now, over two and a half years on, that I am recovering . The colour was rectified at my now hairdressers pretty quickly but the cut , oh it was bad. I look liked a right ugly (s'cuse my language) slaaaaaag, in my after birth photos However, it has grown and I'm just back at my pre-birth shape and length. Might go for a perm now

frumpygrumpy · 24/05/2007 17:20

Has LG&T had her ice cube?

Hi Triplets, I was looking after a little boy today (his mum isn't well). He's the same age as my DTs so I sat at lunchtime thinking "so this is what its like having triplets"!! Then I fainted.

I have opened my bar

inamuckingfuddle · 24/05/2007 19:10

good evening ladies

I have just returned from having my hair cut so am feeling tres chic

Am v happy as I got a promotion at work this week, am test driving a new car on Saturday, at a wedding at a 5* hotel on Sunday and the DTs aren't invited so are staying at my parents from tomorrow until Tuesday

Kelly1978 · 24/05/2007 19:18

life is good, fuddle!

I'd join you in the bar, but alas, we are dry as a bone here. I have nothing to mix with the spirits and only a bottle of mulled wine in the storeroom!

Set up a trampoline today, it's an early birthday presnt for dd and ds1. It's bloody huge, but would you believe there was still fighting! And half term starts tomorrow - aaargh!

Chopster · 24/05/2007 19:41
