Squeeeee! Friend def did have her baby! They've just posted a pic on FB. A dinky little 2lb baby boy (28 weeks). Omg!

I know they've more important things to be getting on with so have fb them to tell them how proud of them I am. First time parents and a baby by emcs so I can't imagine how scared she was (at least I was delivering my 4th and was stoked from delivery Jen for my emcs.

MultipleMama · 01/12/2014 12:12

Pass on my congratulations, Soks! Baby boy sounds like a fighter already! :)

bubby64 · 01/12/2014 12:26

I am still waiting for the boys b/day pressies to arrive, and they turn 14 on ThursdayConfused Confused There has been a delay in stock coming into the warehouse.
Trips/Soks -As for Christmas, I have got only 3 pressies bought, and, because I am so down on my salary this month, I don't know how I can afford much moreSad
Mama-I am working Christmas Eve and Day, so I have got a good excuse not to be hosting the family get together, which will save a bit more money, I couldn't imagine doing that for 30 with so much else going on in your life!
Shabbs- is your leg any better?

Minisoksmakehardwork · 01/12/2014 13:21

Oh, and mama... 30 people! (Voices rises to a squeak of horror!) you are delightfully mad. Tis just the dc and I at home for the bulk of Xmas day as dh is working. So we are chilling in our pjs all day probably. Or I may get the big two dressed so they can go ride their new bikes.

MultipleMama · 01/12/2014 14:04

Yup my family from Russia are flying in. I've already been warned by my Grandfather that he plans to spoil the children. And even though I've warned them all not to buy toys as we have far too many and I don't want duplicates, I have a feeling they won't listen. DH, bless his heart, has made an ebook to sent to all them all with information on Apollo's needs so they don't overwhelm him when they arrive like a pack wolves! Grin

Lucikly I only have 4 people people staying with me and my mental BiL has offered to put up my GPs & GGP in his spare bedroom!

Sitting in PJs does sound tempting though!!!

Chopstheduck · 03/12/2014 08:43

Bright and sunny here!
Fecking freezing though - why did I think a Christmas bike ride was a good idea? All set though, sparkly santa hat on my helmet, and tinsel and antlers on my bike Grin

bubby64 · 04/12/2014 00:10

What a day, house cleaned, burns redressed, birthday cake made, presents finally arrived and wrapped, all ready for my boys 14th birthday tomorrow, no, just clocked the time, today!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE & JAMESGrin Grin Grin Grin . I may moan about them, and get angry and annoyed with them, but they were our own little miracles, and I love them to infinity and beyond.
I am working tomorrow, so we took them out for a meal at a local Chinese buffet restaurant tonight, It does an offer on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, which is handy, as money is tight! Thank God payday is the 24th this month, and I will have a full months salary again! I am having to put Christmas pressies on my credit card, but I will pay that off again as soon as I get paid, good thing I have got it a an emergency source of funds. I try not to use it most of the time, as it has taken me a long time to pay the bulk of it off, and now only keep it for situations like this.Confused

happy birthday boys! xx

Glad things are looking a bit brighter for you, bubbs. Any news on the legal action?

I am knackered. I'm entering all the advent comps, hoping for some goodies to put towards Xmas, which I still haven't sorted. With moving house and Xmas, and starting a job in the new year, money is tight! The ride went well though, I got them all back in one piece! Grin

triplets · 04/12/2014 08:16

Whats with the new emoticons, whats it supposed to be?

Happy birthday boys! :) Cake

Life is manic and crazy isn't it?

We get our Christmas tree next week and I'm so excited. We've decided to go economical this year and want to protect and preserve more than we currently do so we're renting a tree (I highly recommend it - minimal fuss involved too!) This will be Apollo's first Christmas out of hospital and I'm so excited to see his reaction to the lights and festivities :)

K wants to buy his siblings presents this year so DH has the task of taking him shopping!

Everyone doing okay? Xx

Minisoksmakehardwork · 05/12/2014 08:07

Morning. Belated happy birthdays boys.

triplets · 06/12/2014 00:18

I am sooo tired after this mornings unnecessary early start, and now dd has just txt, they are only just leaving London, been to a concert and wont be home until 2.30am and guess who hasnt got a key???

Chopstheduck · 06/12/2014 08:38

aw trips! You need a safe place to keep one. I leave one under a stone elephant if the kids forget theirs. Though yesterday I got home to find ds1 had been on the doorstep for half an hour - he'd left a key on the other side of the lock so couldn't get in!

I need a day off. No comping, no training, and no fecking decorating!!

Minisoksmakehardwork · 06/12/2014 16:31

Oh chops that made me laugh. Poor boy. Dh often goes out with his keys Angry. We have a spare with the neighbour.

triplets · 06/12/2014 21:43

Treated myself to "read in " this morning and didn`t get up until 10am! Normally wander into town but decided to spend the day wrapping........5 hours!! First frost here this morning.........brrrr
Tomorrow I am writing my cards, going to cut back this year, the cost of postage is horrendous. They must make enough profit from us all during the year, it would be nice if they offered a say 40p stamp just for Christmas, after all at this time of the year there is no difference as far as I can see between first and second! Wish we could have a Christmas meet up............be fun! xx

MultipleMama · 06/12/2014 23:46

DH took DS shopping and came back with so many bags and DS had what looked like lipstick and blush all over his when I asked why; DS just giggled and DH glared at me. I really want to know now! Grin

Halo has mastered rolling over! He still hates being on the floor, and he hates not being held but if Artie is playing on the floor he wants to be propped up next to her and always signs "sister" when he sees her. This Christmas I'm determined to get him playing with more than his 2 comfort toys!

Feliks has his procedure tomorrow/today and they'll be doing ROP laser surgery straight after. I am so scared and anxious, they're messing with his brain and DH and I are terrified something is gunna go wrong, I just can't seem to think positive.

A meet up does sound fun. Warm mulled wine, food, laughter and a good ol' chin wag.

Minisoksmakehardwork · 07/12/2014 07:56

What procedure mama (I'm useless at remembering). I'm sure they wouldn't be doing so much in one hit if they didn't think it would be beneficial to little fee. Fingers crossed everything goes well. How is lil man doing otherwise? I guess he's not going to be home for Christmas though Hmm

Am currently lying in bed, listening to what sounds like an elephant dragging the contents of the loft around. Which means some investigation as we've probably a herd of rodents up there. Google is not reassuring me as its suggestions of rats and mice I can deal with. Squirrels and bats I'm not so sure - if it's bats I can't do anything. If it's squirrels apparently it is an offence to capture and release grey squirrels, they have to be humanely destroyed! I don't like the idea of destroying our little garden visitor.

Minisoksmakehardwork · 07/12/2014 12:08

We've had snow! Ok so it might only have been a teeny bit, and was mixed in with rain. Nor did it settle. BUT IT SNOWED!

Not that I'm excited or anything. And sorry Shabs, I know you'd much rather be warming your cockles on a sunny beach in Greece.
