Dont worry I will get there - I am a stubborn old sod - I wont ask him to take me - I will get on the bus and travel to bits of lovely Lancashire that I havent been to

I have cleaned my house from top to bottom and am now sitting on my fat lazy arse bum and I am not moving off the laptop!!

Hi Shabs..........grrr I could smack him one for you. Its not fair. Is your leg no better? Wish I was nearer, really do. xx

shabbs · 26/11/2014 13:11

Would love to see you smack him round the mush LOL LOL - he is only little - well 5ft 7in but I would pay to see you 'get him.'

Knee is just the same - feels like the pain of pushing during labour!!

MultipleMama · 26/11/2014 14:43

What a complete male penis! I could ring his neck for you! 90 minutes is a long time to be stuck on a bus for.

DH and I have had a massive blowout, the tosspot is sleeping on the sofa for the unseeable future because I can't stand to be near him without wanting to punch him in the face and gonads. I feel like I've been sucker punched in stomach. We've never kept secrets; always honest even if it's not what we want to hear. I'm mad but more than anything I'm hurt that he didn't tell me or trust in enough to bloody understand. Angry Sad

bubby64 · 26/11/2014 18:03

Shabbs - what is it about these arsehole brothers! I bet he hasn't even bothered to help you with the house either. Do as I do whenever I see mine and repeat to yourself "he's a total shithole and I am better than him" and take plenty of Wine Wine Wine to numb your desire to kill him,Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks
Mama - I have never heard you sound quite so peed off with your DH, he must have done something bad, so you have some Wine Wine too
chops- congratulations, I'm glad things are going so well for one of us, have some Wine to celebrate
Hi Soks, Trips and Rubes , I'm sure you have reason to hit the bottleWine Wine Wine
Yes, he did go in the end, despite protestations - and the lucky little sod got away with it, as the teacher did not have time to test everyone and she is continuing with them Monday. I have removed his xbox to "assist" him studyingGrin
DH now has Mikes cold, so he is letting everyone know he is "dying of man flu"
I did a night shift last night, and oh, don't I know it today Sad
Now I am going to open a bottle Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine

MultipleMama · 26/11/2014 18:23

Royally peed off, bubs. The fucker (excuse my French) has gone and applied for Uni and sat a few admission tests (which he needed to be able to apply). I don't mind that he wants to go back for his Masters as he always talks about it but he's kept it secret using the excuse that he didn't know how to tell me because when he first applied it was a few before we found out about Fee's CCAM and felt like he couldn't put more pressure on us or that I would make him put it off. He's also lied about working late a few times too, including that day when he said work called him to fix a f**k up was him actually sitting 2 tests!! I'm bloody fuming and so friggin' hurt!! There was two types of course he could take (120 credits) which includes one semester studying abroad or (90 credits) which is a week abroad - guess which one the inconsiderate asshole chose! Angry I just don't know what to bloody do....

MultipleMama · 26/11/2014 18:34

I bet he wasn't impressed he had to go haha! At least he has a while to study for test and I bet he was gutted when you assisted his studying with the xbox! Grin

I don't drink but I'll take a nice glass of Shloer with a massive slice of triple chocolate fudge cake!

bubby64 · 26/11/2014 20:02

Mama- he is another arsehole then, what is it with these men!
No, M isn't impressed, he had better ace this oral exam, or I'll have his guts for garters!!Grin

MultipleMama · 26/11/2014 21:37

Must be something in the water or the Y chromosome! Probably why we ask ourselves "Y" we put up with them! Grin

shabbs · 26/11/2014 22:29

OK going up to see Mum tomorrow - dragging my sorry arsed painful leg behind me!! Have emailed malaker brother and asked does Mam know she is moving - should I say anything or just leave it. Of course he hasnt replied.

Had a quid left in my pocket - not pay day till Friday.....went to the shop and bought her a special offer little bag of Thorntons because she loves them....going to take them up and have a hug, a song (or three) and a few mucky jokes and act like everything is just wonderful Hmm

AND I will put my anger and sadness to one side for my Mam......we never know what tomorrow brings or just how long we have left with each other.

I have cried for my Dad tonight. Keep going outside and looking up at the stars and wishing he could talk to me just one last time and tell me everything is going to be OK. xxx

At last some GOOD news...........dk ct scan for cancer was all clear, that's two years now! Her only concern was that his platelets are low again so is writing to his gp. Can`t really make him out atm, he has got very chatty, most unlike him! Possibly the meds.
Christmas is getting scaringly close..........wish I was going somewhere exciting for it..........................like America..........I long to go back, maybe............one day...........

shabbs · 28/11/2014 07:43

Morning girls xx

Good news indeed Trips. xxx

Bath outlet water pipe has 'died' it took with it the smoke alarm which screamed 'HELP' for over an hour until it blew up!! Thank God our Housing association are on the ball and came out within the hour. Today will consist of scrubbing the kitchen within an inch of its life and the plumber coming to put a new pipe in.

Mum moves today - she went to see the new care home yesterday and thought it was lovely.....so she will be 20 miles away from me instead of a mile. Knobrot DB is buying me a year bus pass so I can go and see her....no apologies yet at all. I am leaving him to take Mum to her new home - good luck with that Knobrot!!!

In fact NO - HE is not buying me the bus ticket he is taking the money for it from Mums bank account because he has power of attourney with regards to her finances.

Posted on the AIBU thread yesterday about DH to see if my anger was justiifed etc. And the amount of people telling me to "drop him" is exstagering, does no-one believe in trying to work things out anymore... They make him out to be some evil person and that he's probably been planning it all along. Why do people think the worst of someone from just one post? I have my Grandparents ideals; if something is wrong, you work at it and try and fix it. You don't give up or leave because it's the easiest option for you. If people love each other then there's something to fight for. Kinda wish I didn't post there now! ConfusedBlush

I can't believe he's taking it out of your mum's money. What an ass. And 20 miles?! Does the idiot think the further away she is the more excuses he has not to visit his own mother. What a jerk. Your mum is so lucky to have you! Xx

shabbs · 28/11/2014 10:57

Mamma I only live a 15 minute walk from where she was and he lives at least 25 miles from where she was....but he drives!

Now Mum will be just about 5 miles from where he lives and 20 from where I live. Neither myself or my DH drive and we certainly couldnt afford a car if we could Grin

He is full of shite poo to be honest - I am sitting here waiting for the repair man from the housing and he is packing up Mums room at the nursing home and taking her to her new home. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha good luck with that my brother - remember I was the one who had Mum live here and did the moving of the stuff to the first nursing home........

Step away from AIBU Mamma - its not a good place.

Minisoksmakehardwork · 28/11/2014 16:34

I saw your thread mama. Aibu really isn't the place to ask as the answer in a 'dh and I have rowed' thread is nearly always predominately 'LTB and go to relationships board'

I'd suggest however that maybe dh is reacting to fee being an unexpected additional to the family and maybe thinking if you can have another baby, he gets to do what he wants to do too. I'm not saying you both didn't make the choice, but I remember dh wasn't overly enthusiastic about you being pregnant initially. It's a clumsy way of putting it but I can think of s better way to phrase it clearly.

Shabs. Poor you. I know your mum needs to be somewhere secure. But just dragging her away without properly looking at the options is foolish. Especially as now your brother will have to take responsibility for his choice. Are you able to step back and just be 'daughter' for a while? Make sure he is the one who they call all the time.

I presume though you are looking after your mum's affairs though. So does your brother just get to ride roughshod over you?

Minisoksmakehardwork · 28/11/2014 16:43

Missed your post about your brother having power of attorney Shabbs. Will catch up on rest of thread now Blush

MultipleMama · 28/11/2014 17:28

Sok - I figured that out after about the 3rd post "leave him" haha. Think I'll just stick to you lovely ladies! Grin

We talked, we screamed, we cried, we hugged, I missed the simplest affectionate touches like holding my hand. He was very honest and open, and I was in return. So. Here's where are now, I haven't forgiven him for the lies because that hurt me a lot, we are to go to a therapist together because I admit I'm not coping well either. I want him to talk to me, about what's in his head and I want to be included, I love hearing how about his day at work and I love watching him talk excitedly about all the dreams he has. I haven't seen that since Fee was born. And that's more important than anything else, currently. He has my full support to sit the rest of his exams and to apply for University but he is not to send it in until we're in a better and have fully discussed all options.

I think with the twins and Halo being so close in age and the NICU stays within months of each other has just finally caught up, and everything just began to crack.

MultipleMama · 29/11/2014 17:36

How have you ladies been today?

Today has been eventful but a pretty good day. I am ready for bed!

As of January (after Xmas holidays) K & A will be attending a new school as we aren't satisfied with the one they're are. It's a great school but the DC aren't thriving. K's attitude and interest has dropped dramatically and A has become very withdrawn. The new school had an open day today so we took the DC and they seemed to like it. This school also has a support department to help and encourage K in the subjects he's advanced in. We've been in the process since end of October when we learnt the current school couldn't help anymore. So excited for them! :)

Fee has made progress and is much more awake :) We also met with his care team and got some answers we needed :)

How's your leg today, Shabs? X

Minisoksmakehardwork · 29/11/2014 17:41

Evening. Lovely busy day here which will continue with the ceremonial loading of car with things crap to car boot tomorrow. Am hoping it goes well as I've organised it!

Went to see I believe in unicorns today with James and Emily. It was a beautiful performance. Very moving in parts. I almost teared up, but caught myself as bawling in front of a bunch of grown adults and children, even if they felt the same, would have been embarrassing. James really entered into it too.

Minisoksmakehardwork · 30/11/2014 14:29

Car boot could have been better but people did turn out and people did come. Quite a bit of feedback and ideas for next time...

Off to catch up on zzz now while dh takes bugs into town and twins have a nap.

bubby64 · 30/11/2014 19:10

Shabbs- put your arsehole db in a locked room with my arsehole db and see how they get on with each other! I agree with the "step back" approach, especially as db is the only one who can get there in a hurry if, God forbid, they call when buses aren't available. If you remember, I took this tack with my db and mum at the beginning of this year, and it worked to a certain extent.
Soks - glad the car boot went well, I hated organising events like that with my various committee's, and it's always a relief if they go off without absolute disaster, well done.
Trips- So glad your DH's results, and also that he's talking to you, doesn't matter if it's the drugs or not!
Mama - I agree with others, stay away from the A IBU boards, I have been on them before with dodgy results. At least you are now talking things through with your DH again.
Chops- I hope things are ok with you, and that you have got the house you wanted, things are definitely on the up for you.Grin

triplets · 01/12/2014 07:47

agghh 1st Dec.........three weeks to Christmas......panic........where has this year gone? Its scary how the time flies, do you all think? Dk seems ok atm, be interesting next week when he ups the meds. I can`t seem to concentrate atm, so much been going on in my head. Shabbs me awd mucker hows the leg? Glad my brothers, I have four, are all lovely they have always cared and helped me. Off to Canterbury to try and get a few more pressies, hoping its not manic over there. x

MultipleMama · 01/12/2014 10:06

Urgh. Please don't remind me about Christmas. I have to host Xmas meals for 30 people! DH says I'm mad and should just cancel it and that family would understand but I need this. I haven't seen family in so long and half of them and never met my DC. And with Fee in NICU I'd want family around. The preperation is going to be a PITA though!

And all my presents are done and wrapped!

Did everyone enjoy the madness and stupidness of Black weekend?! WinkGrin
