Well ... it's been one hell of a month hasn't it? I hope everyone is safe and well (and not going too mad with kids and partners at home!). As always, referral links and new starters are welcome, think we're all going to need a boost financially over the next few months.

Do you get alerted when there are more tasks or do you need to keep checking?

Catatemyhomework · 21/04/2020 08:39

@unicornpoopoop, they send a new link.

This study on Prolific was fun and interesting Also pay isn't that bad, if anyone's interested check it out.

Unfortunately, B says no more tasks available, apparently a few people have this issue. Hopefully they sort it out soon.

tootyfruitypickle · 21/04/2020 08:40

Just tried the right click thing using my work pc and it works there so will use that next time ! I’ve been using a MacBook and it’s fast but does mean the right click copy doesn’t work, so swings and roundabouts I guess. Slightly nervous about using work computer for other work even out of hours!

Frenchdoors1 · 21/04/2020 08:40

@tootyfruitypickle

Yes, that's what I was thinking, finger trouble haha.
I didn't want to go at breakneck speed then have this happen and not get paid.

DarkPassenger · 21/04/2020 08:42

Managed to do an hour this morning but looks like they have all gone now. I seemed to be averaging 1m 15s per task so I hope they are happy with that.

Catatemyhomework · 21/04/2020 08:44

@DarkPassenger, that's really good time. Next batch, they'll probably cut the time to 1 minute! Hmm

Kaylsar · 21/04/2020 08:49

I'm going to post my Prolific earnings to give an idea of the earning potential. I joined on the 14th of this month so exactly six days ago.
I've already cashed out £11.64 to my PayPal.
My balance atm is £5.38.
My pending balance is £13.67.
So all these total £30.69. I want to point out that I noticed I've been getting some bonuses as well. These are 20p, 14p, 50p, 60p. I've included them in the £30.69 total. So over all not bad, averaging about £5 a day Smile

Frenchdoors1 · 21/04/2020 08:55

@Kaylsar

Well done!

It is dependent on demographics though.
I could go a couple of weeks without anything then get 3 in a few days.

Kaylsar · 21/04/2020 09:06

Thanks! I think it’s because I’m always on my laptop and leave it open and whenever (1) a notification appears on the tab I click to see what’s available. I’m 25, undergraduate degree, and BAME so not sure if these demographics usually get more studies these days.

Wheelyyyy · 21/04/2020 09:06

Potatoey people, can the work only be done on pc /laptop or can it be done on mobile phones too?

ifuckarses · 21/04/2020 09:10

Sad there's no more tasks, but expected it to happen. Wish I'd have stayed up and done more while they were there.

I averaged at 1 min 30 secs, so was doing 40 an hour.

rhij86 · 21/04/2020 09:47

@ifuckarses yeah I wish I'd stayed up too, only did half hour. But really needed the sleep and just as well I did as LO was up from 3am Sad

Catatemyhomework · 21/04/2020 09:54

I didn't do any either. Did one yesterday and timed out. Was tired and thought I'd do it today and now there are none. I'll be quicker off the mark next time!

curdsandwhey · 21/04/2020 10:06

Yes, the amount you earn on Prolific will vary according to your demographic. I joined a couple of weeks ago and have earned around £8, but I'm not on the computer all day.

Also, many of the surveys can only be done on a computer and not a mobile phone, so for example I woke up in the middle of the night and checked my phone, and saw there were three surveys I could've taken part in but I would've had to get up and start up my computer, which I couldn't be bothered to do at that hour.

Suebnm · 21/04/2020 10:08

@Wheelyyyy

No, not on phones.

Wheelyyyy · 21/04/2020 10:30

What about tablets? sorry if thats a daft question lol. trying to see if i can take something with me when im out and about and have 30 minutes or so

ruralwanderer · 21/04/2020 10:32

No more B* tasks for me either but here's my Trading212 link in case anyone's interested:

Wheelyyyy · 21/04/2020 10:33

and where do we see a que on dashboard anyone?. waiting for the klipola login too

ruralwanderer · 21/04/2020 10:33

@wheelyyy, some of the Intellizoom tasks are phone based so that's worth signing up for. They're usually $5 or $8 once you pass the Think Out Loud and Card Sort tests.

Wheelyyyy · 21/04/2020 10:34

sorry im a little but chuffed after waiting nion a year to join and very excited to get started. its like having all the gear and no idea :D lol

Wheelyyyy · 21/04/2020 10:37

@rural oooo are those tasks on with the potatoe head people?

Suebnm · 21/04/2020 10:57

@Wheelyyyy

No, no tablets. Only PC or laptop. No question is a daft question, don't worry.

When you get access to the dashboard or klipfolio you will see the queue.

curdsandwhey · 21/04/2020 11:00

I'm still waiting for Intellizoom to approve my test. Or maybe I should take it as a no.

Wheelyyyy · 21/04/2020 11:10

@Suebnm hope its ok to ask this here. I dont understand the que system. I can see them on the dashboard for all the different things but unsure if i need to join a que and how or can i click straight on M2 and go?
And if i do need to do a que, how do i join itConfused.
And S*k theres a list of people jumping in for a roll call and being assigned to things, do i need to join this? is this for specific work?
