Hi I'm totally new to this thread and I'm curious. Can you explain to a newbie please or link to an idiots guide perhaps?

I'm looking into any avenues of building a little extra income as my usual income is currently zero.

@pltzsgrrb, have a read of page 1 of this thread. @Otterses has kindly linked to the main companies we use to try and earn a little extra. Every one has their own preferences and some months one company may have more work than another. It depends on what's out there at the time really. @Frenchdoors1, glad it isn't only me then, although obviously I wish you had work too!

Has anyone had a payment from Neev* recently? I'm watching a few tasks in my work history move to closed but no payments have come through so far.
They have always seemed to pay quite quickly once they had closed before.

@ifuckarses I applied to isoft at the end of Feb and received NDAs to sign a couple of weeks ago so hopefully you'll receive yours soon. I've now got the training to be getting on with so I'll be tackling that this weekend

B has still not returned to my invoice. Oz has finally appeared.

Thanks @Catatemyhomework I'm waiting on payments from early March, I'm probably being impatient but I just can't ever remember it taking this long after the tasks have closed.

I got an email from them this morning saying that B hours would be added to invoice and ready to submit by Sunday, so hopefully that will be the case. No B**er for me either, but I'm not worried now as been on chat and apparently the current tasks are for auditors and when they're finished we should hopefully get more, although obviously there are no guarantees. Just keeping my fingers crossed. I haven't had any work for a few days now so hoping things pick up soon.

@SpirallingThroughAnotherDay, no I definitely haven't been paid by Neevo for stuff I've done in March. I'm just assuming they might be a bit behind with everything that's going on at the moment.

How does invoicing on appen work if your only projects are auto generated? Will it appear as an invoice on its own, or do you still create and submit one once all auto hours are showing? First month I've had any projects and not sure how it works! Only have B* and nothing's showing yet but not sure what it should look like to know what I'm watching for!

If they aren't added till Sunday it is very likely that we won't get paid this month if they even upload by then as they have consistently failed to upload at the times they say they will.

It happened to me with December invoice. I submitted and it was rejected due to wrong hours (my hours were right, they were wrong) that meant my invoice was approved late and they then didn't pay me till February - about 3 weeks late.

So if them adding hours late leads to late authorisation I don't expect to get paid in March. Getting fed up of this tbh. They hound you and threaten to kick you off for not doing the hours when they want and not working fast enough after them having messed you around for months and then they don't even keep to their side of the deal.

Anyone having issues with UHRS login? I normally log in via my gmail account, but it seems they've taken the option to log in via google away!

So prolific have an app? I keep missing them.
