CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL - TUESDAY 12th - FRIDAY 15th MARCH 2019

The offers I am planning to take advantage of are:-

• Skybet - money back as cash if you lose - up to £20 - 1st Race every day of the festival. Expected Value: £16 per day, £64 in total

• betway - if your horse loses in the first or last race at Cheltenham each day, we’ll refund you with a Free Bet up to £/€10 in each race. Expected Value: £6 per race, £48 in total

• Ladbrokes - £1 free bet each day of the festival. Expected Value: £0.70 per race, £2.80 in total

• William Hill - I have a few £5 free bets already set up which should credit to be used on Tuesday.

• Matchbook- £20 free bet sign up offer.

I'm interested in the extra place offers offered by Betfred & Paddy Power but don't think I know enough about horse racing to do these and also I will only be online early morning and evenings after 9pm. Also the double winnings at Coral are interesting. I wish I understood the offers at Betfair Sportsbook & Exchange as these are probably good too. I might look into all these a bit more.

I've discounted using Racebets and Sportspesa as they have bad reviews and/or are super quick to gub. I didn't get the Bet365 offer or I'd be taking full advantage of that!

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm feeling a bit bamboozled, so much so that I'm just want to close the laptop down and run away and forget the whole thing is happening! So to keep my sanity, I'm probably going to choose just a few good offers as listed above and concentrate on those and maybe some Cheltenham casino offers too. I'm aware there's stacks of cash to be made though, hopefully you are going for the big £££! That being said, I'd absolutely love your tips and to hear your plans so thay we can make some money together! It's also be interesting to know targets. Mine is £250 for the week but this will include weekly stuff (bet clubs, price boosts, darts) and also casino.

If anyone has bet as a matched bettor at Cheltenham before, I (and am sure everyone!) would be grateful for your advice and help so please post!

I am £60 in profit, which I'm pleased with because I'm aiming for £50 a day. That's without any Bet365 offer (still sulking).

I managed to get a 4th place with PP. everything else was guaranteed profit. Tried an extra place but it didn't come in.

I'm finding it so hard to get close matches though! I was only home to focus on it from 3pm onwards but even within half an hour max of the races I wasn't getting much above 95% and I don't want to start spending £1+ on QL.

I think I was just over £40 today, but I just let the Skybet ride so should have got an extra £15 if I had layed properly. I still don’t understand how people make megabucks.

What’s everyone doing tomorrow? I’ve got Bet365 £25 freebet, and managed to get a tiny profit on the qualifying bet, and skybet first race which I’m going to lay this time. Coral wasn’t available to me. I’m not at home for any boosts. Struggling a bit. Tried a few extra places today but the one that came in seemed to net me a £2 profit so I must be doing something wrong there.

I did get the bet365 football in-play freebet for tomorrow so that’s about £20 profit.

Well I fucked up and forgot to use a FreeBet only valid today 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I did live chat and I have another free bet credited to my account. Always put things in your diary/calendar.

I'm stake restricted to £4.32 max. bet at betway otherwise I'd be using them too.

I'm working next 3 days so unsure if I'll manage more than that!

I haven't put any lay bets on The favourite.

I have backed 3 horses to win with £20 stake returned as cash offers with sky bet, pp and matchbook.

Least I think that's what I've done have spent £60

God Live Chat pisses me off. I took part in 2 x Betfair Exchange promotions to place 2 x £10 back bets on a couple of horse races at the weekend and yesterday, haven't got the free bets and Live Chat were less than useless. Might ring them tomorrow...

There’s a paddy power money back if Aviator (or similar name ) wins the 3.30 offer. What’s the calculator to use if doing that?

Favourite, I did those offers too and no free bets arrived today. I didn't keep links to them so couldn't offer up evidence of there being an offer! LC gave me 1 as a courtesy though. I'm going to start tracking Betfair offers more thoroughly as they've missed a couple for me previously too and I never remember what they were from.

Live Chat were useless tonight but I might try on the phone tomorrow. I've had to chase up loads of Betfair offers so they be probably got me down as a right chancer!

Use the risk free bet calculator and set retention at 100%
Place the bet and don't lay - as you get the £20 back anyway

Just a heads up I think Betfair is playing up again. Yesterday all of my lay bets disappeared just before the first race but they did pay out. Looks like the same thing is happening today; hopefully it will be ok again xx

@Flyinggeese, yes that's exactly right to lock in profit. Or you can underlay (lay same as stake).

Smarkets isn't always behaving either, I had £000s of lay bets on yesterday and it was saying potential winnings = £0.00!

@ThroughThickAndThin01, its the Trigger Bet Calculator on OM. Odds are crap just now though and only netting £2.80 or so profit. I'm planning to back and lay this about 3.10pm.

So I've had another busy morning and hopefully netted around £50 profit. I've locked everything in and not taken any underlays. I've also dabbled with extra places for the first time on the 14:50 with Unibet and Paddy Power, fingers crossed!

I've also got my trigger bets on for the WH Golden Goal and my Betfair Exchange back bet to get a free £5 Sportsbook ACCA. There's also an inplay Betfred offer for a £5 free bet for the CL match tonight too.

Jealous of you all making a tidy sum this week. I only started again a few weeks ago with a small float, but this week doing the Unibet New customer offer of bet £10 on an antepost and get 4 x £10 FB to be used on each day of cheltenham (1 per day).

So should hopefully be £50+ up at the end of this week!

I'm really struggling for decent matches today. Everyone says how late to leave it but all races today I've been watching up until the races start and they barely move still! I feel like I'm missing something.

Arggghhh I had Brio Conti on extra places for 5th and he came 4th by about a nose !! So bloody close!!!
