The offers I am planning to take advantage of are:-

• Skybet - money back as cash if you lose - up to £20 - 1st Race every day of the festival. Expected Value: £16 per day, £64 in total

• betway - if your horse loses in the first or last race at Cheltenham each day, we’ll refund you with a Free Bet up to £/€10 in each race. Expected Value: £6 per race, £48 in total

• Ladbrokes - £1 free bet each day of the festival. Expected Value: £0.70 per race, £2.80 in total

• William Hill - I have a few £5 free bets already set up which should credit to be used on Tuesday.

• Matchbook- £20 free bet sign up offer.

I'm interested in the extra place offers offered by Betfred & Paddy Power but don't think I know enough about horse racing to do these and also I will only be online early morning and evenings after 9pm. Also the double winnings at Coral are interesting. I wish I understood the offers at Betfair Sportsbook & Exchange as these are probably good too. I might look into all these a bit more.

I've discounted using Racebets and Sportspesa as they have bad reviews and/or are super quick to gub. I didn't get the Bet365 offer or I'd be taking full advantage of that!

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm feeling a bit bamboozled, so much so that I'm just want to close the laptop down and run away and forget the whole thing is happening! So to keep my sanity, I'm probably going to choose just a few good offers as listed above and concentrate on those and maybe some Cheltenham casino offers too. I'm aware there's stacks of cash to be made though, hopefully you are going for the big £££! That being said, I'd absolutely love your tips and to hear your plans so thay we can make some money together! It's also be interesting to know targets. Mine is £250 for the week but this will include weekly stuff (bet clubs, price boosts, darts) and also casino.

If anyone has bet as a matched bettor at Cheltenham before, I (and am sure everyone!) would be grateful for your advice and help so please post!

My aim for cheats is £100 which ought to be easy. Apparently bet365 can be quick to gub during Cheltenham.

Gubbing isn't the end of the world. I'll make a couple of hundred over the next few days and I'm gubbed at Coral, Sky and Betway :)

Can someone advise me on how to bet/lay the Paddy power offer - money back as a fb if you place 2/3/4th? I've got myself into a muddle!

misstiggi you just back and lay as normal and hope they place 2/3/4. I don't think there is a way to lock in profit. So just need to look for low QL.

Just done my Bet365 bet, free bet appeared immediately so should make about £16 from that one. Hopefully I can do it every day.

I’m thinking one strategy would be to bet on several different horses in a race and then hope you pick up at least one refund?.

Then use different bookies the next day?.

Hi. Just started on 1st March so still terrified. I will be just doing a couple a day during Cheltenham but will be watching in preparation for next year. You all look very organised I must say.

The Coral offer isn’t available to me. Damn. Does that mean gubbed do you think? Have just spent two hours placing bets with Paddy Power, Skybet, Bet365 and William hill, but scratching around for anything else. I’m not sure how people reckon to make £500+. Any ideas how to make that sort of money? Dh isn’t in to matched betting or gambling but happens to have a betway account that my son opened for him apparently! Anyway have got him betting on the first and last races of the day.
