I think you could attend the "success days" without a downline. As long as you pay the entry fee and tools and look naive. But the whole infiltration op would incur cost; £200 for the starter kit, tools costs, and you would be expected to buy products for home use. It would be £400 easy including tickets ro events?

xenu it is a great story for anyone with time and resource, but the journalist would have to be pretty fearless - these guys have deep pockets and do not take kindly to criticism. I don't think you'd get the whole story from success days, they're likely to be full of brainwashing motivation rather than a cold look at the figures, but these success days could be a story in themselves.

Has anyone seen a FL person on 'the other side' - so when they've come to the realisation it's actually them and only them who are buying FL products? I have one FB friend who did Herbalife for 3 years but looks to have been an add-on to her day job..

So far in the past 24 hours ive had a new friend request from a woman I worked with about 15 years ago. A scoot of her FB pages suggests she is deeply involved with FL so im not sure whether to accept her for the entertainment or to avoid like the plague as I cannot cope with anyone else 'begging' me to join.
Ive also just noted a FB post from a lady who has decorated her kids bedroom with the obligatory 'so glad I can do this now I am my own boss'
I decorated my daughters bedroom this weekend- not sure what point she is trying to make??!!!
Interestingly I had a fb message from a colleague who is on Mat leave. Her FB posts seem to suggest that she is living the high life and may not return back to work. Her private message on the other hand is completely different and she seems to have got herself in a state as her maternity pay has finished.... make of that what you will. I actually feel very sorry for her.

I only have a rather half-hearted FLbot on my FB, and none of the other shite. She posts about the Clean9 thing, and how much she loves "being in business" but it's not too overwhelming. I'm not sure I could handle one of the proper nutjobs.

My parents were completely taken in by Amway when I was about 8/9. Bought loads of the products, went to all the motivational meetings, listened to the tapes, read (or at least stacked up) the books. We had "inspirational" cut-outs from magazines stuck up on the kitchen cupboards around my/DSis' artwork etc. I dread to think how much they blew on it when they really couldn't afford to.

My FL but job is really starting to possess me off now " I would never go back to being an employee now and make other people rich" she's only ever had one job before! She is making out like she's the next Karen Brady. She's constantly looking down on people with 9-5 jobs and talks constant shit about people making excuses. She hero worships the main FL poster girl . She has also just suckered in 3 New recruits. It's so heartless and disgusting

Oh and is currently doing the clean 9 for the SIXTH time and saying how clear her skin looks . Her acne looks the same as it always does placebo

Maranello it does mention Avon and Ann Summers though ... they're not as bad as FL for the cultish tones, but still have an element of MLM / recruiting (which I don't have a problem with, clearly, given who I signed up with )

Well my FBbot is still spouting on about "Family Time is Sacred Time" and being #trulyblessed and being a #homebasedmama etc.

Meanwhile she seems to be rarely at home and is working her arse off daytimes, evenings and weekends and covering a huge geographic area according to her updates. I've even noticed that her older daughter is picking up the younger one from school each day.

Not quite sure how that qualifies her as being home based and working around her family .

But peachykeen what your FLBot doesn't realise is that she 'is' making other people rich by being in a pyramid-scheme MLM

In other news, on the last thread i proudly announced that FLBot had decided to jack it in - no such luck, she had a resurgence of interest and is back on form, turns out she has made back what she put in and is starting 'to earn big - baybeeee'. She has probably only got back a tenner or something. She has a little posse of cleanse buddies on FB.

Thankfully she isnt jacking her 'real' job in yet so in the meantime i shall watch with interest!

Totally agree Martha . It's a shame your FLbot didn't escape and has got indoctrinated again. Is death the only way out? Has anyone managed to escape ? I would really love to hear an ex FL victim speak the truth about what really goes on
