Hi ladies!

Our previous thread is now full so I’ve made a new one 😘

@sunstruck I was 9 dpo when I got the positive test and 18 dpo I think when the bleeding started. I'd got a pretty much negative test at 14 dpo so I knew it was over.

So how many dpo were you when you got the positive and then had the blood test? I wonder if implantation was late. In which case it might be ok. I really hope so! Xx

SunStruck · 01/10/2019 17:28

@Catconfusion I got a positive FRER at 12 DPO, and faint CB at 14 DPO (first hcg test taken this day - 67) and equally faint at 17 DPO. Very strong CB today at 19 DPO though 🤷🏻‍♀️ 115 hcg today.

@MrsMGE thanks for your kind words, you're completely right that limboland is the worst! Sometimes it feels never ending.

Hope AF is a bit better now? Xx

Let us know how your speech goes tonight 🙌😍

Catconfusion · 01/10/2019 18:30

Hey @SunStruck I see what you mean. I guess it should be higher by now. I really hope some how the test is wrong. If it's any help I had spotting from the day I got my positive test with the chemical and lots of stomach pains. Xx

Kiki061190 · 01/10/2019 18:50

@SunStruck I am so so sorry you’re stuck in a phase of uncertainty. It’s so cruel and unfair! You have the strongest and most positive attitude ♥️ I hope you get good news later this week.

@MrsMGE Your AF sounds horrific! Hope you’re resting up! How long does your AF usually last? I had the oddest AF in June, it felt like when I had medical management for my mmc. You know the sensation of it almost slipping out and I also had blood gushing. It was so odd as I usually have quite light flows. I know you’re going to smash it tonight! Also it’s so hard to stick to a budget when it comes to renovation. I have spent more than I would have liked this year!

@bettymoo212 Hi there! That is such a long time to wait to get a negative HPT. The worst has passed now with the mmc and it’s on to better things ♥️

MrsMGE · 01/10/2019 22:11

So, ladies, in the words of Julius Casear, I came, I saw, I conquered! I have smashed it tonight, and I'm bloody proud of myself 👏💪 We are super women at times, aren't we? Well, most of the time, actually 😉

Thank you for having faith in me ❤️❤️❤️

Pleased to report my AF seems to have calmed down, and it's good to see it's already CD5 tomorrow, this week is flying by. Another week or so and I'll be TTC again. @Kiki061190 it felt exactly like you've described, that horrible feeling. Luckily, my AF is normally 5 days long, pretty sure it will finish overnight. Not something I want to remember, tbh, glad it's nearly over.

@SunStruck how are you doing? I really hope the next few days will fly by for you, much like this week has for me xxx

SunStruck · 02/10/2019 02:31

@Catconfusion @MrsMGE @Kiki061190 thanks ladies, I'm feeling a bit better today - I
Figure that this is completely out of my control so just trying to live my life like normal and not think about it too much. I have no pain, no bleeding or spotting at all, just fatigued. Reminds me of my mmc which is annoying 🙄 I guess what I'm most worried about is that this is going to mess up my cycles again if it doesn't work out, and then take ages to go back to normal so we can try.

@MrsMGE you go girl!!!! That promotion on the horizon??? 😉 yes back to TTC soon, time flies when you're busy! Every month is a new chance ❤️

@bettymoo212 you hang in there, it will go back to normal soon! I know everything is a drag when it comes to TTC though. Fingers crossed ovulation is around the corner 🤞

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 07:15

@SunStruck It better be! If not, I'm going to quit, life is too short for giving too much to those who do not appreciate you!

I know it won't be consolation to you now, but even if the worst was to happen, it is unlikely to mess up your cycles big time. It is early on, you have fantastic care and monitoring, they'll give you whatever is needed to speed things up and get back to normal. Plus, I sometimes wonder whether it would have been an idea to TTC straight away (as in whenever you can, but without waiting for the first AF). You will have pregnancy hormones in your body still, and that might help things? I know it obviously depends on many other things whether you can do it or not, but just a thought. In your case, you can be scanned so regularly that they'd dare you easily even if you conceive before AF so that's helpful. Also, that's going to be upsetting, but true - hope you don't mind me saying in view of the fact we've all lost our babies - even if the worst was to happen, there is absolutely nothing more that you could have done, and considering you have found out as early as possible, your road to TTC again will be open quickly, as soon as you feel ready.

So, regardless of the outcome, try not to worry about the future too much now cause things will work out, I promise ❤️ xxx

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 07:24

*date not dare, I do hate this phone, sorry!

You could not have done anything better or different @SunStruck, if it's bad luck again, it's unbelievable, and it shouldn't be happening, and I think it's fair to say we will all share your emotions, whether that be sadness, anger, disbelief or whatever that might be. But it is exactly as you've said, out of your control and you are absolutely right, as difficult as it is, try not to let it weigh you down. This outcome, positive or negative, is out of your hands and nothing to do with you. Whatever wiłl happen, will happen, but you're still a fit, young, emotionally strong woman and having awfully bad luck doesn't take from that. You have every chance to have your little baby with you soon, and I still have my hope for positive news for you now. If not, you can do this, you'll persevere, and the good news will come very soon ❤️ xxx

Kiki061190 · 02/10/2019 07:48

Yes @MrsMGE !!! So proud of you ♥️ Wow cycles day 5 already. You ditching the opks this cycle?

@SunStruck I’m hoping for good news at the end of this week for you, if not I know you’re going to get that BFP again! It’s so hard that these things are so out with our control, I like to be organised and all this waiting and seeing what happens is the worst.

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 07:52

@Kiki061190 Yes, I am. I am temping, but so not used to it that I forgot this morning 🤦🏼‍♀️ I need to put a reminder in from tomorrow AM, again, I'm being useless when it comes to any tracking! I'm not doing it so much to know when to dtd but to confirm ovulation. Will just dtd every 2 days between CD 14ish-24ish or so. Xxx

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 07:53

Actually that's not right, it will be a longer window, probably more like CD12-CD26, a Two Week Sex window (TWS 😂) xxx

Kiki061190 · 02/10/2019 08:03

@MrsMGE I would definitely dtd every second day in your fertile window! I think that’s the best plan because it covers all bases. If you don’t use opks ect it stops you getting so stressed about when O will happen and stops dtd from being a chore.

SunStruck · 02/10/2019 08:38

@MrsMGE so happy after reading your message! Thanks! I love this thread, it's so supportive as we're all going through the same thing and understand the anxiety! Yes worst case scenario we'll just try again ASAP - maybe our cycles will sync again 😉🤣

What fun do you ladies have planned this weekend? X I can't wait for tomorrow (it's like a Friday for us), I'm so exhausted so just going to sleep and eat well all weekend! Sunday couldn't come quick enough, I'd rather know sooner rather than later about what's going on 🤷🏻‍♀️

Only very few sleeps left for @Kiki061190 and @Catconfusion - can't wait to hear your updates xxx

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 08:45

@SunStruck I've taken an impromptu day off on Friday. DH and I are going away for one night to celebrate my birthday 🍰🥂🎉 xxx

SunStruck · 02/10/2019 08:50

@MrsMGE oh congrats!! Is your birthday on Friday? Where are you going? 😍

Catconfusion · 02/10/2019 08:51

@MrsMGE I found the idea of temping tough so I got Ovusense which was super easy. My fertile window was cd 14 - 38 so dtd was super stressful over such a long period. So Ovusense helped us to know we'd got through it and I'd ovulated.

I'm so glad you're moving forwards now and away from that horrible AF. Have a lovely birthday and night away! Xx

@SunStruck I hope Sunday comes quickly. It's horrible waiting. If you really wanted to know I guess you could test and see if the lines are changing but it might cause more stress if hcg has been over 100. Probably still strong lines.

We just simply can't wait for the scan now. Xx

SunStruck · 02/10/2019 09:02

@Catconfusion thanks, I have thought about it but decided that nothings going to change the outcome, and I'm just pissing on money at this point 🤣 I'll just wait for Sunday.

How much was Ovusense?

Catconfusion · 02/10/2019 09:33

@SunStruck I don't blame you. I think I would wait and see too.

It was about £150 for a year. We had a voucher for 25% off. There's often offers on. You can get a monthly subscription too. Xx

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 13:36

Thanks @SunStruck. It's on Saturday and we're going for a little spa break :)

@Catconfusion what is Ovusense? Sounds really expensive :/ I am too skint atm to spend more on TTC! Xxx

SunStruck · 02/10/2019 14:24

Oh how lovely @MrsMGE ! My birthday is exactly 2 weeks after yours 🥰 so nice with a spa, you really deserve to relax and get pampered! Make sure you make the most of it xx

Haha about money, I've spent a fortune on ovulation kits, vitamins, pregnancy tests and preseed, I completely get why you're broke 🤣 and on top of that your renovation... poor you!

Kiki061190 · 02/10/2019 15:30

@SunStruck I’m bricking it for tomorrow afternoon tbh. Don’t want bad news!

@MrsMGE Ooooh I know what you mean about being skint. Work starts on my driveway in a couple of weeks, hope it looks as good as it’s costing 😂

@MrsMGE is a small device you wear internally that monitors your temperature while you sleep. You then sync it to your phone in the morning. It plots a chart and tells you when you've ovulated. It's really accurate as internal body temperature and you don't have to wake up at the same time each day. As long as you've had 4 hours sleep it's accurate. I found it really helpful as DH is up early so I don't necessarily get up at the same time. Plus you don't have to upload immediately when you wake so it's much easier than temping.

Oh @Kiki061190 I can imagine it's nerve wracking. I'll be the same tomorrow. One more sleep though for you! Your chances are very good that all is healthy. Try not to worry as hard as it is! Xx

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 17:59

@Catconfusion it does sound helpful and I can see how it would help me as I'm useless with remembering things in the mornings, and also my DH gets up before me too. I'll think about it, but not this month as it's too expensive and really, I think I can at least try to discipline myself for one month 🤣 I don't intend to track for longer than that, I only would like to confirm I ovulate. I think I might buy it if it turns out I don't actually ovulate, but I suspect this is unlikely. How are you doing? Any plans for the weekend?

@Kiki061190 I bet you're stressing out, I don't envy you that. Another case of limbo land until you see everything on the screen and it's all clear. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you, I really believe everything is fine, but not much can be said now to calm you down, and I understand that. Scans are such a trigger, unfortunately. Take care of yourself xxx

MrsMGE · 02/10/2019 18:00

And yes, I wish I had a money tree sometimes, every time I think we're in for some big savings, they all get dispersed because a big expense comes along, it's just ridiculous! Xxx

Catconfusion · 02/10/2019 18:45

I'd say @MrsMGE it's a good idea as you say to give it a go temping for a month. I got Ovusense mainly due to my irregular cycles a few months before we started ttc so I could see if I was ovulating. To be honest I was shocked to find I was.

Here is the link to find out more

https://www.ovusense.com/uk/2month?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIufLfzo7-5AIVR8reCh3ZQgIMEAQYASABEgIKPDD_BwE

It sometimes got me O date wrong but it's easy to see when it happened with a big rise. This is the chart I conceived on. The thick blue line is where Ovusense thinks I ovulated though I know from the dating of my first ultrasound it was more like where the thin blue line is. I tend to get a gradual rise so I think that confused it. Still a great idea to make temping easier. Though the price is a bit off putting. X
