Hi ladies!

Our previous thread is now full so I’ve made a new one 😘

Oh and @SunStruck failed ovulation is really common with pcos and irregular cycles. You’d only know through monitoring temps if it’s happening. Mine was worse after the mcs. I used Ovusense so had a really accurate temp chart each cycle. It’s the reason why opks are not always accurate for ladies with pco or pcos because they can pick up attempted O as well as the real deal. Xx

Kiki061190 · 13/09/2019 11:39

@MrsMGE There’s still just over 3 months until Xmas. Don’t lose hope! I get back at midnight tonight, I loved the Amalfi coast! I wish I could come back not pregnant as I’ve barely ate the whole time here. OH has been in his element eating all the seafood! It’s horrible when you lose family and friends through disagreements. I only have my mum and she has been unbelievably supportive this entire time. If I didn’t have her and the friends around me I think my mental health would be worse as I would be in my own head more if that makes sense?

@SunStruck 19 days until the scan! I actually don’t have hope for a positive scan but OH is all upbeat which is making me more nervous. I really don’t want to go through medical management for a second time in 5 months 🙄

@SunStruck Keeping my fingers crossed for your Michael Phelps 😂🤞I have a good feeling about you this month.

@Kiki061190 Gutted for you, yo be in Italy and not to be able to fully enjoy the food is truly devastating! But a great excuse to come back soon with the little one 😊 I'm sure everything is OK. I know the symptoms or lack thereof are meaningless in many ways, but in reality, the risk of another MMC is very low. I think out MMCs are 1-3% of all MCs, depending on the research source. So if you have no ususl bad signs, your chances are good. Try not to stress out (too much) cause as we know, it's not good for the little bean.

I'm more relaxed this evening. It's Friday, nice weekend ahead, DH and I just had some noodles and I'm chilling out. I took another test this eve and it showed LH 22, so much of a much the same as this morning. No progression, but like I said, I got past the peak of stress and worrying now, don't think this is going to happen this month and I'm just enjoying myself. On this note, I'm off to watch some "Stranger Things", Friday eve sorted! 🎉 Xxx

SunStruck · 14/09/2019 08:47

@MrsMGE haha thanks! I'm also doing Netflix and chill today, DH out with friends all day so I get to cuddle up with my pets! Lovely. How's your opk progressing? X

@Kiki061190 oh not long left! You've been feeling so ill I'm sure it's all progressing well with the little bean!! I understand not trusting your body after mc though, I feel super naive last time around... 2 more people in my network just announced pregnancy, it's weird how you don't notice these things when not trying yourself! 🤔

@Catconfusion very good to know, seems like we're all fertility experts now in different areas - A lot of times I think I need to step away from google, doing me no favors 🤦🏻‍♀️

MrsMGE · 14/09/2019 10:41

@SunStruck Hiya! It's not progressing really, just maintained within the same bracket, it was LH15 this morning, I'd say it would be a tad more, but I had spicy food and lots to drink last night, so FMU was likely diluted. Not expecting anything anymore, it's so late in the cycle that I really don't see things happening! What did you watch last night? Xxx

Catconfusion · 14/09/2019 10:43

@SunStruck its funny isn't it how much you learn from ttc, especially without textbook cycles. Google can be great but also causes a lot of worry. I'm trying to stay away if I can. xx

Kiki061190 · 14/09/2019 11:18

@MrsMGE I know I was gutted! But you never know when you’re going to fall pregnant! Never expected it to happen so quick so I really wasn’t expecting to be preggers in Italy 🇮🇹 Back Home now and tackling the mountain of washing from unpacking all the cases! How was your evening last night?

@SunStruck Awww thank you! I know I hate being so negative but I think MMC teaches you that your body can deceive you! Lovely you are having a chill day. I’m going to do something similar then I have a dinner this evening with fiends. Hoping I can eat! I feel like everyone is announcing pregnancies around us! What is going on 😱

I just wrote a reply and MN decided to refresh the page & I've lost it all 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Kiki061190 What are you cooking tonight? Oh, I hate washing after hols, I fi the same as you, get it out of the way asap! 😂

@SunStruck Your day sounds bliss ❤️ I love cuddles with my dog and two cats, they're the best!

I am doing a bit of work now and then off to the pub 🍻 Lovely weather today! I also took another test and it is hitting LH30, I know that's not enough and it's too late for O this month (I'm 9 days before AF today if I calculate in the basis of a 35 day cycle, i.e. the length of my last one). But I feel relieved it has gone darker, at least there is some LH there, it's weirdly reassuring that it's not completely messed up.

First Pregnancy Missed Miscarriage (Part 4)
Kiki061190 · 14/09/2019 14:53

@MrsMGE Are you cycles regular? Is this your second AF since mc? Because the length can change after MC, mines was 4 days shorter which was weird as I had always been totally on time. Have heard it going the other way and it lengthening cycles. That’s looking dark to me! Do one tonight and get a cheeky dtd session in 😉 it’s Spag Bol tonight! Here’s hoping I can eat it. I’ve managed half a sandwich today so far. No appetite at all!!!!

OP posts:
MrsMGE · 14/09/2019 15:01

@Kiki061190 Do you think this is quite dark? I'm struggling to tell, I've been testing for so many days now and I don't know anymore. I've never had anything nearly as dark or darker than the test line. This is possibly the darkest line I've had to date, but still lighter than the test line. Tres confusing.

My cycles are anything between 30 and 35 days usually (with an odd 27-28 day cycle, but rarely). After the MMC I had a 37 day cycle and then a 35 day cycle. This is my third cycle after the MMC.

Bolognese sounds delicious, I hope you manage to eat it. I find it's one of those meals I fancy no matter what, even if I'm not feeling my finest. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy it 😘 I'm going to have a pub curry tonight, I think. Xxx

Kiki061190 · 14/09/2019 15:30

@MrsMGE It looks good! Keep dtd every second day ♥️ I never had even a remotely good second line. I’m terrible for having a weak bladder so I just can’t hold enough to get a decent sample. Never had a positive LH test, are you ditching these after this cycle? They are far too much stress! Pub food is delicious, I’m jealous ♥️

OP posts:
MrsMGE · 14/09/2019 15:39

@Kiki061190 I am, and I will continue! I am definitely ditching them next cycle! Femometer leaflet tells you to hold it in for 2 hrs before testing. Tbh I drink a lot and I'm not entirely sure if I've always managed that, it's not possible to plan your life around that!

MrsMGE · 15/09/2019 08:02

After 15 days of testing, it's the Steady Smiley Sunday 😊 I'll do exactly the same as before, just dtd for few more days. It's CD25, so very late in the cycle. I know there's still a chance, but like I suspected since Catconfusion mentioned this on the thread before, my luteal phase is short. I now think, if it doesn't happen, I'm happy, as at least I ovulate by the looks of things, which was the main worry. I guess the length of the lp can be improved with medication. Or, if it does happen, then fingers crossed it implants itself and stays there, hopefully no early MC. Regardless of the outcome this month, I'm just happy to see the change, it's a massive relief, and weight off my shoulders ❤️ Thank you for your support and keeping fingers crossed for me, especially when I was in a really bad place. You've really picked me up and calmed me down then ❤️

How is everyone doing today? I'm off to do some exercise in the sun, hilly walks are on the cards! Xxx

MrsMGE · 15/09/2019 08:05

Here they are...am so grateful to see this I could cry, one hurdle less after so much bad news in the last few months ❤️

bananamonkey · 15/09/2019 08:36

Ah that’s brilliant @MrsMGE, I’ve been feeling for you as tracking is so stressful, glad you’ve finally got there. Enjoy a lovely sunny walk!

Catconfusion · 15/09/2019 08:40

Yay @MrsMGE I’m so pleased. You might not have a short LP this time. Maybe your AF would have come later as you’ve ovulated late. I really hope this is it. My understanding of short LP is anything under 10 days might make a difference. Still possible yours is longer than this. It’s really exciting stuff and great you’ve ovulated. Are you temping as well? Xx

MrsMGE · 15/09/2019 08:56

@bananamonkey Thank you ❤️ That's really sweet of you. How are you doing now? How far along are you? Hope everything is going OK for you!

@Catconfusion I'm not temping, doing both was too sophisticated for me! But I have been paying attention to my CM and it is definitely fertile since yesterday which is completely in line with both, Clearblue and Femometer results. Femometer is now super dark, showing peak fertility & LH116, which is rather crazy considering less than 3 hours earlier on FMU it showed LH56. Goes to show I have a very short steady progression, only in the last two days LH has picked up a bit, but today it has boomed within hours! Xx

MrsMGE · 15/09/2019 09:30

I know without temping I can't 100% tell I am ovulating, but I don't want to worry about this in view of the fact all the other signs are there, just staying positive now 😊

Catconfusion · 15/09/2019 09:55

@MrsMGE it all seems to point to O so really likely it is. Your cycles seem short enough that I doubt you get failed ovulations. In my case I got all the signs even when it didn’t happen but my cycles are much longer. I’d say give it a few months and you could always temp to check it’s happening if you are concerned. As I’ve say before Ovusense was great for this. I just hope this is it and you don’t need to go through any more monitoring. It’s so stressful. Have a lovely Sunday! Xx

Kiki061190 · 15/09/2019 10:35

@MrsMGE Awww girl!!!! I just squealed whilst making myself some toast 😂 so so happy for you! I told you not to lose faith! Get a good dtd session in today and maybe tomorrow if you can manage and you should be covered!!!

bananamonkey · 15/09/2019 10:41

I’m ok thanks @MrsMGE I’m nearly 9 weeks, just had my early scan and all looks ok, still shocked there’s actually something in there!

Catconfusion · 15/09/2019 10:49

Yay @bananamonkey that’s fantastic news. So glad all went well at the scan. I’m back next week for another one. Will they keep monitoring you? I guess it’s not long until your 12 week one now. Xx

bananamonkey · 15/09/2019 11:20

Nothing scheduled but can go back anytime if I’m worried. The 12 week date came a couple of days after my booking in appointment last time so should be soon.

SunStruck · 15/09/2019 11:37

@MrsMGE yassaayyyyy!! So happy for you!! 😄😄😄😄 my cycles are exactly the same - I ovulate late, and quickly after my solid smiley. And because I've been tracking this cycle with the Dr, I know I go from almost nothing happening to ovulation in 1 day, it's so quick!

My luteal phase is quite short, it was 10 days last cycle. I still caught 2nd month and made it to 9 weeks with a short LP though so don't worry (miscarriage was not due to short LP). This time around, my Dr has put me on progesterone pessaries in my TWW to try lengthen it a bit and baby aspirin.

Bear in mind your LP might be completely fine, it's just that your cycles might be a bit messed up still as you're one month behind me miscarriage wise, which is why you ovulated late. What's most important - Body not broken 😄

@bananamonkey what a relief!! I'm so happy for you. I'm sure it's sticky!

MrsMGE · 15/09/2019 21:42

Awh lovely news @bananamonkey! I bet it's hard to believe it's real and progressing well after the experience we've had. But it is 100% real and it's fantastic to hear! Hope it goes this way right until the end for you.

@Kiki061190 @SunStruck you're such sweethearts! Thank you. I've had a really nice day, going to enjoy the rest of my evening and relax. You never know, SunStruck may have her Michael Phelps this month, I might have my Ian Thorpe 😂 (did I mention I LOVED Ian Thorpe when I was younger?!).

Kiki - glad to hear you're eating! Did you have bolognese last night? How was your evening with friends?

SunStruck - our cycles really do sound similar! I originally thought I conceived my first baby 9 days before my AF was due and I think this may well have been right. I know my O may be a bit late because of the recent MC, but I have always suspected I ovulate later in the cycle. Much like you, I made it to 10 wks pg with no natural MC. I assume this is a good sign and that my progesterone was fine, although I've never had it checked. Do you think I should go and ask my GP to have it checked as and when I get pg again? I kind of would like to think that I won't have another MC, but if my levels are low perhaps having extra progesterone and baby Aspirin would help. These are simple steps, I think I'd rather know and take them than not, question is whether anyone would test me after one MMC.
