Pregnancy after D&C

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering when any of you lovely ladies got caught pregnant after your D and C? I had mine back in May and I’ve had 1 period so far, I’m due on this Wednesday (10th July) I’m really hoping I don’t but I’m getting all the signs that I will.

I can’t bare to see another negative test and would love to hear some positive ones!

@bbh1978 oh wow that's quite the story 😱!! I can't imagine how excited you both must be after 15 years.... It's not wonder there some fun gymnastics going in in your gymnasium, I mean bedroom haha!! Yeah I feel the same regardless how stressful TTC gets, fun time is always fun time haha!! Just wait till you get the bfp, you'll be the talk of the little town lol. I keep telling myself IV been pregnant twice this year so it will happen, really hoping to see my lines get darker this time around. I'm due af Monday so I'm not going to test again till then and if not lots more fun time lol! Xxx

@Elles1980 yes that is excact the same way I want to keep trying, seeing it as just fun 😜 we only live once, so we have to make it count 😊 and by the way I am really looking forward to being "the talk of the town🤣"👏🏻

And that's a fantastic point we do only live once, so if we want to have little people who will grow to look after us then so be it and a massive 🖕🏼 to anyone who thinks it's not ok. Hi ladies how are we all?? I'm currently sat in doc surgery. Had really good line Saturday but have started bleeding this morning 😕! Prepared for the worst but hoping for the best. I'll keep you all updated xxx

Hi ladies, so weird I had cramps, nothing I'd call severe just very uncomfortable. I couldn't sit so it was either stand or lay down, the bleeding has stopped now so I'm super confused by this? The doctor had my bloods done this morning IV to call back tomorrow afternoon for them but I'm so early she said not to take much notice of the numbers. Then follow up on Thursday and I guess I'll find out on Friday afternoon when I call to get the results of those if all is going to be ok? This is a crazy stressful place to be but I'm trying to remain positive. If it is the worst it means I'll have the hysteroscopy next week and rule out anything else and just keep going.....if all else fails I'll revert back to plan b and just get a kid on the black market 😂! Finger toes legs arms all crossed for tonight, bigger the cramp cross those arse cheeks aswell gals 😂😘! Xxx

@Elles1980 hahaha ok, I'm here on my sofa I cannot operate the remote or move until tomorrow now as everything's crossed, clenched, would hold my breath too but you know... that would take me out of the running for a BFP or just life in general 😂

So I called about a hundred times today for my results (my pal was on the doctor's results line lol) no one got back to me. I used my cbfm to test this morning and it said not pregnant and then about 4pm did a clear blue Digi and it said 1-2 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️, stuck in limbo at the moment I'm afraid, so I hope your arse cheeks ain't cramped too bad coz they need to stay crossed.... Probably till Friday haha! I'll owe you one though... Favour not arse cheek 🤣😂!! How could I possibly bleed like a period for one day and still be pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️! Fingers crossed still! Used my cbfm AGAIN this morning and it's also now saying pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️🤨🤔?! I legit have no idea what's going on? All I can think of now is eptopic maybe?! Has anyone watched that new film fractured on Netflix..... Not wanting to give spoilers but the blokes mental and believes shit that ain't even happening and kidnaps a kid from a hospital after killing his wife and kid and putting them in the boot of his car. In his head he's saving his wife and kid when he kidnaps the random...... Am I fractured also 😂🤣🤯🧐?! Will go get my blood results this morning and then have repeats tomorrow morning. Till then I shall live in hope. And also try not to kidnap anyone..... Or kill the other half and kids pahahaha!! And Im in school doing pe today 😲😂🤣!! Have a great day ladies xxx

So just to clarify....positive frers. Then cbfm was saying not pregnant Monday and Tuesday. I did a CB Digi dates about 4 pm yesterday and that said 1-2 and this morning I got pregnant on my monitor. IV spoken to the docs and they said that HCG on Monday was 12 so a definite positive and to try to take it easy as bleeding has stopped etc. I mean I'm trying to keep myself on an even keel but I'm actually loosing my head lol 🤦🏻‍♀️..... All slaps taken gracefully today. Luckily I have work the rest of the week so shall be pre occupied and not harrassing you lot 😂! So confused by it all though xxx

Hi ladies thought I'd fill you in.... Had bloods done again yesterday and levels have risen from 12 from Monday to 40 yesterday. I mentioned to the doctor that I was very worried about the levels being so low and she has said not to worry at all as everyone is different and 2 of my other pregnancies started very low also so that may just be the way I'm built anyhoo for now all is looking well. I was wondering if you had any advice, IV been googling and googling like a mad woman to see if there's anything other than eating healthy, not being stressed and taking preg vitamins that I should be doing?! I hope your all well xxx

@Elles1980 sorry but I dont have any other advice on what to do, I am doing the same, healthy eating (most of the time), vitamins (folic+D) amd drinking lots of water, trying to avoid coffee and te (w/caffein)... and trying to work out, and at least take a looooong walk, when I dont want to go to the gym (which is often lately 🙈) :)

I hope your numbers are still going up 🤞🏻😊...

Hey @VenusStarr it's not going well I'm afraid. My HCG are so incredibly low and not near doubling, had a scan last Friday and been diagnosed as a pul. They have said that even if they did see it in the right place it wouldn't be viable so I'm prepared for the worst it's so so hard because I'm so sicky and have terribly sore tender breasts and I'm so exhausted. It's weird knowing that even though I feel so pregnant nothing is going to come of it ☹️. For once I'm struggling to stay positive or crack jokes. Just holding on to the tiny bit of hope that it may very well be some sort of miracle but I know that's not the case. I have more bloods and another scan tomorrow at 9.45am, They said it'll probably be eptopic and so I know from past experience it'll be methotrexate and that made me so I'll.....I just feel done and maybe need to also take a little break, it's just heart ache after heartache. And my poor oh is in a right old state. To be honest I can hardly bear it anymore it's such an emotional rollercoaster 😭. I hope your ok ladies I do think about you all and this TTC shitty journey and I hope your all well massive hugs to all ❤️😘 xxx

Hey @Elles1980 oh sister I'm so sorry! 😓 apologies for the silence I've had my head down for a bit as my work has been really hectic and I've been travelling and just needed a chill from all things online - have thought of you of course and hoped you'd be well. I have no special magic words to make this any better as I know just how shitty the situation is and the waiting is so painful and slow. If there are miracles I hope it happens so someone deserving of it like you. Keep us posted! Nothing to report here, my first AF after my MC came last week whilst I was on business in Bham and then Munich and now I'm at home after eating my body weight in Pretzels and Bread rolls whilst I was in Germany and guzzled red wine and beers. At least I felt like my old self prior to TTC and the being health obsessed manic I became. I'm off on Friday for my tests at that private clinic I booked a month ago or so, so let's see if we get any answers on my 2 MCs are not. X

Hi ladies, thanks so much for your kind words. IV been back up and had another scan and bloods. It's all very confusing to me and I was in a right old state and never asked any questions which I now regret.
So last scan there was nothing at all in the womb and clear tubes but she said I'd ovulated down the right side.
This time she said that there was a little something in my womb but she couldn't say for sure what it was. She said she was checking my left tube (why if I ovulated down the right, can that happen?) And saw something but maybe have been bowel 🤷🏻‍♀️? She also asked if anyone had spoken to me about progesterone. She said last Friday my levels were 11 and they like it at 20. Had more bloods done and have to call back at 3om so lordy knows what's going on?? They took weight and height to get prepped fro methotrexate just incase. I'll keep you filled in xx

With regards to seeing something on the scan, would it be worth waiting and seeing? (I know that is hideous ❤️) but it sounds like something is happening as it wasn't there before 🤞 how far along should you be now? Xx

Hey ladies, had my call and there wasn't any need for questions as my HCG has dropped to 30 so lord knows what she saw in my womb that wasn't there Friday. Definitely having a miscarriage (no bleeding or pain yet but expect that to come) on the positive side (had enough of positivity lol) no need for methotrexate or any other intervention! Decided to just get over this enjoy Christmas and see how we feel in the new year! Of course I shall not be leaving this thread because I'm a nosey bastard and want to see all your bfp 😂!
