Hi, am 8 weeks but a scan has shown that heartbeat is just a flicker and measurements are way out for the number of weeks. I have a scan on Monday and expect to find the pregnancy is finished.

However, all the pregnancy symptoms are still there so think I will need some kind of medical help to end it.

Would anyone mind sharing what my options would be and how it might work please?

I thought all would be ok at my last scan but now I know it's not I just want to prepare for the next stage. Thanks in advance.

This has happened to me twice. The first time it came away quickly and naturally. The second time I hoped this would be the case again if he pregnancy wasn't going to progress. I still felt pregnant both times and hoped against hope the doctors were wrong. They asked if I wanted to come into hospital for a procedure which I declined saying I preferred it to come away naturally. They said if this hadn't happened within a couple of weeks they would admit me. I eventually plucked up the courage to go in just over two weeks later. It wasn't pleasant they gave me tablets which took a long time to work and I stupidly refused pain relief. It kind of induced labour and eventually you bleed and go to the loo and everything comes away. I felt pretty rubbish afterwards. Take care. We did go onto have two healthy babies.

Hiii everyone :) Sorry I've not been on for a few days, been busy catching up with family who we haven't seen for a while and they came to stay with us...nice to have the house back to ourselves again I must say.
Oh more, I cannot imagine how hard it must have been for you to lose your angel that far gone...it was bad enough at what I thought was nearly 11 weeks :(
Praying we have some positive news on this thread soon Star
I haven't bled now for more than 48 hours so I'm assuming the process is complete (fingers crossed anyway). Roll on my next period.
Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and had some lovely presents xxx

Thank you for remembering Hula when's your next scan? Today has been rescheduled because I already started bleeding they want me to wait until
the 2nd and come back in then :( just want it over with now. I've found the not knowing whether it's done or just getting started the worst thing

Sorry to see so many here.

I had my ERPC on the 17th Dec, went back as bleeding got so heavy by the 23rd he gave me this something Acid tablets to help with clotting. So by 27th this had mostly cleared up.
By the 30th was all clear so had to give dtd a go to get back in the saddle so to speak.
31st to today, pink spotting all day major drip drip not increasing - is this normal?Anyone else had alot of spotting and bleeding post ERPC?
