Hi all - so, with kbear's blessing , I'm starting a new thread for all of us to organize meetups. Why don't we try a picnic again in one or two weeks time on Tuesday the 9th or 16th near the Maritime Museum? Let's do around noon... So, let me know which date is better and we'll go with the majority. I was so sad that yesterday didn't work out!!

KBear · 24/10/2005 11:00

OK, I'm going to stick to what I know in future! I'll CAT you my mobile number in case you can't find it and need to ring me!

Hoges · 24/10/2005 15:01

Hi - We've got friends coming for dinner tomorrow. I'm hoping to come to the Forum but all will depend on how my preparations at home are going! If I can get myself organised I'll see you there.

KBear · 24/10/2005 19:25

bumping for tomorrow's meetup

KBear · 24/10/2005 20:29

drop - did you tell coldtea about this meet up BTW - am I right in thinking she is offline at the moment? Can you text her if you have her number?

KBear · 25/10/2005 08:45

reminder for today

Micku5 · 25/10/2005 08:47

Hiya... hope you have a good time today. unfortunately I am working today and dd is at nursery.

jenweber630 · 25/10/2005 09:06

I couldn't logon yesterday!! I don't know what was going on - anyway - I'm bummed. When I went to the forum last Friday they showed me a room that looked pretty good for a meet-up. So, Monday afternoon I took Mitchell to play there and found that the person who showed me the room neglected to tell me that it cost 18 pounds to rent it for an hour! Grrr. So - I'm bringing Halloween cookies and some frosting/dye/sprinkles as well as some paper so the kids can color Halloween masks, eat cookies, and have something to do while we have a coffee. If you have any crayons/child safe scissors you can bring that would be lovely. See you all there!

jenweber630 · 25/10/2005 10:23

Great! See you then.

Hi, im new to this sight...juts wondered where abouts the meet ups take place??

jenweber630 · 25/10/2005 16:29

Well - our larger meetup locations tend to change every month but we usually start trying to decide a few weeks before we all decide to get together. And sometimes, people post an outing and if people are free they go... It just all depends - we tend to get together on Monday or Tuesdays since it seems to work for the working mummies in the group. You're welcome to our next get-together!!

Thanks Jen, would be lovely to come meet some new people!!

KBear · 26/10/2005 11:07

Jen, Drop, Hoges, Bran - nice to see you all yesterday.

Jen - thanks so much for the cookie-decorating - E and R loved it. I'll return the pots next time I see you ok.

Happy Halloween - hope M gets to go trick or treating. You can always bring him to us and knock on our door!!!

jenweber630 · 26/10/2005 14:39

Nice to see you all yesterday too! Anytime you need a few hours to go shopping, drop your kids off and I'll keep them busy. Any ideas for a November meet up?

OP posts:
KBear · 26/10/2005 15:59

Don't tempt me Jen! I have just realised that this year will be the first Christmas that I have no pram to balance all the Christmas shopping on when I take a trip to Bluewater. Will need to borrow M and the 3-wheeler! Fair trade?

jenweber630 · 27/10/2005 17:38

Ha ha ha - heck yeah! I'd be happy to trade your two kids for mine and the pram for a few hours when you need to go Christmas shopping.
