Hi I am 33 years young and live in Copthorne near Crawley, West Sussex and looking to chat to other mums/mums to be in the Surrey/Sussex area and maybe arrange a meet up sometime. I used to be on the Redhill or nearish thread but that seemed to die a sudden death so thought I would start a new one.

I have a daughter of 17 months and am expecting another girl in October.

I've spoken to Amanda and I've had an e-mail from Helena. They're both happy to meet up whenever in the evening. Don't know what has happened to Mary though? Anyway, Amanda can't do Tuesday evenings, but I think otherwise any day should be OK. I don't mind myself. Let's go ahead and sort something out and I'll get in touch with them both to mention the date. Perhaps we could do Caterham again if you don't mind? It worked quite well last time and then maybe we can do a meet nearer to you after that. Let me know what you think.

I'll pm you separately as well, but I was wondering how Thursday, 28th or Friday, 29th Feb suited us for a meet. If we meet in Pizza Express where we did before I have a buy one get one free voucher on main courses so it should be a nice cheap-ish evening. Stephanie I hope you got my pm.

OK Amanda - I have mailed Stephanie and willmail Helena tonight to see what we can sort out. Will pm you too.

Hope you are now better. I just began to feel myself again on Saturday and managed to get to the theatre with Nev to see Dirty Dancing which was great and I managed to last the whole performance without coughing!

Just realised I cant do the 29th as promised to go for a meal with a friend that night, knew the date rang a bell but forgot to put it in my diary until reminded yesterday! If everyone else can make that date dont worry about it I will make sure I can make the next one!

Well we had a lovely evening on Friday night, except that poor Helena wasn't able to find us which was a real shame. So sorry about that Helena, but Amanda, Gill and I had a great evening. Lovely to see you again.

Hopefully we can do a date when everyone can come next time.

I don't know Steph. I haven't heard from Helena, but I have seen Amanda and am seeing her at the weekend. We'll try and sort out another date to meet up again soon and, hopefully, this time you will be able to come along. Have you found out what school Isabella is going to yet? We find out Rhianna's school later this week.

Have you been in touch with Mary? She hasn't posted for months

Hello Ladies, so sorry for neglecting this thread. Have been very busy and trying to limit my internet time as I find mumsnet too addicting at times. Hope you all are well and enjoying the lovely weather we've had. Had a busy weekend with birthday parties (going to them, not having them) and went to see Lazy Town Live. Have to say that it was fantastic! How sad am I?

Great to see you back on here. I wondered where you had got to Mary.

I know what you mean as Rhianna has had 10 parties to go to (including hers) in the last month! We had four this weekend alone and have four more before the end of the month and several more in July and August! She has a very busy social life so we can't fit ours in!

We took last week off work to do jobs in the garden and have a day up in town as well. We picked the right week and went to see Hairspray at the theatre in London which was brilliant

Had meet ups in Feb and March with Helena, Amanda and Gill on here and am in the process of arranging another for early June in Purley, would be good if you were able to come along.

Steph, I have e-mailed you at home a couple of times since Rhianna's birthday but have not had a reply.

All ok here, girls have been a bit ill, had the chickenpox and slapped cheek but seem ok now.
